NBA League pass question for a friend

Post#1 » by Sensor » Fri Oct 14, 2016 12:12 am

A good friend of mine is wanting to get into following the game more this season. He's over in Australia and wanting to get NBA league pass, which I personally have no experience with. His question, which I was hoping one of my fellow magic fans could help me with. He's wanting to go half and half on the bill with a buddy, will they both be able to watch the games at the same time on separate devices? They don't live together. Thanks in advance for any help! Also mods, sorry if this is posted in the wrong area.

No, they can’t watch at the same time. Last year I did the same thing with my bud and we argued on a weekly basis lol When one of us is watching and another logs in, one of us will just pop back into the main page and get logged out. With that said, I don’t encourage your friend to do the same unless they can really set up a good schedule for themselves lol BTW, it's much cheaper to purchase the league pass using a VPN from another country, say Thailand, which could save up to $100 USD.

P.S First time poster here and I am not from America so hopefully not too many grammatical mistakes lol

You can watch the game at the same time in the US version as long as it is a different type of device. One access is allowed per device type, so one can do PS4, one can do PC, one can do mobile.

I did not know that. Right now I only pay for the option to watch 1 team (Magic).

Yeah, I shared with a friend and we did simultaneous last year on the single team US version. He watched on his phone and I used my PC. I will check international which I have this year and see if it works and update.
