So far this preseason, I don't know whether I'm more excited about Booker and Chriss or more disappointed by Bled, Warren and Len. Probably the latter, which is funny because I'm almost always the optimistic type.

After watching some preseason, I think Embiid is a lock for ROY if he doesn't get injured. He is a monster.

KAT, D-Lo, Porzee, Turner, Booker all have at least all-star potential. KAT has MVP potential.

Then there are another bunch of guys that could have a chance, including: Jahlil, Mario, Winslow, Oubre.

One of the best drafts but not the best ever. Jordan, Hakeem, Barkley, Stockton (1984) is hard to beat.

What did you expect from Bledsoe and TJ after missing so much time with injuries? Bledsoe can't find his shot inside the arc yet, but other areas of his game (rebounding, passing, 3-point shooting) look very solid.

This will probably help Bledsoe--less stress on his knees.

'84 is the goat. '03 is also very very good (LeBron, Melo, Bosh, Wade, West.) Of course there is '96 (Kobe, Iverson, Ray Allen, Nash - That's 4 Hall of Fame players like in '84.)

If Knight doesn't play again we'll see a lot of Ulis and Goodwin.

Do you guys think we're gonna give Len an extension before the deadline. I see Gobert might get one so I figure it's a good question to ask. I know Len has been playing pretty bad so far into preseason so I think it's in our best interest to offer him an extension now if we feel like he can still improve. If we keep him for around 10mil I'd call it a win for us. 12mil maybe as high as I go.

I don't see any realistic way he takes 12 mil given the big man contracts given out last year.

I think there is no chance the Suns give Len an extension right now. Every dollar that the Suns offer over his qualifying offer or cap hold takes away from their cap space next offseason. And the Suns have max cap space available for a free agent. If they give him an extension for say equal to Chandler's contract, that takes away their ability to offer a max contract to someone. If anything, they can negotiate an extension and then sign him to it after they are done signing other players next offseason. That is what the Spurs did with Kawhi Leonard. They agreed upon the max extension and then waited until the following offseason so the team could sign other players first.

I can see a extension because I highly doubt Len will bet in himself this year.
If McD offer 12M/y for him, I guess he'll take it and call a day.

Yeah, I would offer him $52M/4 years (Chandler's contract)...not more than that at this moment. If he plays relatively well this season that contract would be an steal.

^That's what I mean, he may just be playing awful trying to get his legs back in preseason. Maybe he'll start to tear it up and then wed have to offer him something like 90mil for 5 years. I doubt he'll play that good, but I think its in our best interest to offer him something now. I understand it might limit our cap room over the summer but I don't believe we'll be a major player in free agency again this offseason anyway. The following offseason I can see us making moves (particularly for Boogie).

In Naples, Fl here. Can anyone give some insight on how I can watch tonight's game?

I'd give Len 10 mil a year right now. 4 years, 40 mil. If he declines, have the offseason to see what other teams have to offer. We have ball in our hands.
