Seager can't seem to come up with a hit unless it's the 1st pitch in the 1st inning. The kid needs to do a much better job of adjusting instead of capitalizing on just his bread-and-butter. Opposing pitchers have been making the adjustments. He's a professional hitter who is supposed to have natural hitting ability. Corey needs to at least meet expectations instead of reverting to a wide-eyed newbie in the playoffs.

damn, I was just saying before we give up another hit we should just let Baez throw one at the face of Baez. he's got a protector anyway, then the younger Baez gets a double off of the older Baez. should have hit him.

it only takes one or two great situational hits by Seager to change the entire conversation here.

I am still hopeful. he is our best hitter and he has to eventually come through for us to have a chance.

goddamn it. i called the last 4 pitches to my wife and I got them all correct... but I am not the one with the talent to be swinging the bat there.

man this is it. the top of the 8th. we have got to get it done right here.

and we got away with that last pitch. a back to back up and in fastball? lucky we got away with an inning ending flyball to the center field. that should have been down and away.

Utley time!

I wanted them to bring out Chapman right now, if we beat them we beat them at their best, but even if we don't, we waste their closer in a game we were supposed to lose. but here comes their righty. Utley has this one. Turner and Seager next, wonder how quickly they will bring in Chapman. if Utley gets on base, I doubt Joe Madden would bring in his closer for a 6 out save. we just got the chance we have been asking for right here right now

I'm still quite perturbed with Carlos Ruiz's throw to 3B that allowed Javier Baez to steal home. That would burn if it was the difference maker. However, Howie Kendrick's misplayment of the ball in LF is a factor as well. I do acknowledge that I liked Ruiz's batting approach at the plate in this game.

right here baby, the game is on the line, nobody out, top of the eighth with bases loaded, Chapman is coming up and we all know unless Seager GIDP Puig is coming up with nowhere to put him. Cubano vs Cubano with the match up we want.

and meanwhile, If Seager gets a double or better, we got this game #1!!!!

I wonder if the runner at 3B (Turner) could have score given Fowler's soft lob back to the infield after fumbling A-Gon's clutch hit in CF. Now Blanton gives up a leadoff double.
