Very divisive prospect but he's got a workers attitude and has shown some solid things so far.

It's only been a small sample but he has seen to have improved in the areas he was criticized for. He's been keeping his head up while attacking the basket and made some really good passes, his defense has looked pretty good, especially tonight. I think people overlooked the fact he has a decent midrange game and is good with his back to the basket. I don't really see him as the gamble others do, he'll be a good enough defender right off the bat and even if he struggles with his outside shooting he'll get his points in the paint and at the line. He's going to see minutes so he'll be judge early on, but between him and Chriss I don't think they'll be as big of projects as people believe.

They didn't overlook his midrange and back to basket game he didn't have one before. If he's showing it now that's recently developed. I just saw one of his coaches from HS yesterday and asked about him. Told me Jaylen's been putting in work.

A lot of comments have said his shot is broken and he has no shot while it has looked good this preseason and he did shoot over 40% from 12-16 and 16< at Cal, so yeah I do believe people overlook that he does have a decent midrange shoot. I don't care what he shot in high school. I also apologize if I'm mistaken but I don't believe that you conviently ran into his Marion high school coach. Checking past posts you seem say you also have friends that hung out with Aldridge and the Blazers team in 2012(despite Aldridge admitting he doesn't go out clubbing/out with teammates at the time because of his two kids and being in a relationship) Despite you saying you were too young to get into a strip club you talk about knowing everything about Moses Malone's game in another thread. It would make more sense if you were a forty year old that had some kind of job affiliated around a NBA franchise.

Mindaugus Kuzminskas had 18/10 tonight and Willy had 12/11.

These are clearly rotation players and any analysis of the Knicks goink forward should include consideration of them.

You forgot the most impressive thing about those stats, neither of them played in the first half :o

I haven't watched much Juancho but Willy plays some sweet sweet fundamental ball. I imagine it's a similar deal for JHG.

He's not going to get a lot of time but Ellenson is pretty skilled for a big.

Wow, its way to early to discern that with Chriss I think. Kudos for sticking your neck out there with the prediction though. I personally think Embiid will be ROY if he can stay healthy. Chriss just does not have the physical presence that Embiid does.

Not saying they play the same or will have the same impact but I get a Gasol bros vibe with them.

Brown looked good tonight. That dude needs to just clean up a few aspects of his game and I think he will really be something. His ability to get to the rim and finish are incredible.

He shot 30% idk where you got 40% from. You can believe he has a decent midrange shot now and maybe he does but he definitely didn't at Cal.
I don't care what he shot in high school. I also apologize if I'm mistaken but I don't believe that you conviently ran into his Marion high school coach.
WTF is Marion highschool? He went to Wheeler. If you're trying to call someone out you might want to know what you're talking about.

Checking past posts you seem say you also have friends that hung out with Aldridge and the Blazers team in 2012(despite Aldridge admitting he doesn't go out clubbing/out with teammates at the time because of his two kids and being in a relationship)

Because my story totally makes it sound like he was so enthusiastic to be there. His team went so he went with them its not hard to get.

Despite you saying you were too young to get into a strip club you talk about knowing everything about Moses Malone's game in another thread.

If only there was some way to watch old games after they finished. Then maybe I could've seen people like Magic, Jordan, Bird, and Moses play in their primes.

It would make more sense if you were a forty year old that had some kind of job affiliated around a NBA franchise.

Or I'm a 22 year old that likes watching basketball so I watch old games when I have nothing better to do and I've trained with some of the coaches at Wheeler because its a basketball powerhouse only 25 minutes from my house and I was 14-15 years old? You think NBA players don't know people in their home towns?

I agree with Blaze. IMO his low bball iq and lack of intangibles will preclude him from becoming an impact player. He will make some all star teams but I don't think he can be a number 2 on a championship team. I like Lavine more as a prospect.

Chriss is 1/3rd Paul George and 2/3rds Amaré, Suns will make the playoffs this season, I have to go revise my Western Conference playoff predictions now :cowboy:.

Embiid should be the best rookie but i sort of expect him to play like 1000 less minutes than Chriss, if I were setting over unders.

Also some of the talent gap might be mitigated by Embiid having to play the essentially the 4 with Noel and Okafor around and should get less cheap buckets with that spacing issue and no guarantee any of their guards can actually create for others at an NBA level.

Chriss has 3 NBA guards in his backcourt and will have more space to operate.

:/ Say what you want about Andrew Wiggins, but criticizing his basketball IQ and lack of intangibles, but then promoting Zach LaVine as a better prospect seems kind of crazy to me, haha.
