I'd say the Packers offense is far better than the Bengals offense and the memory of a one legged Green Bay QB torching us two years ago is still fresh in my mind.

And they are the #1 Run defense in the league. We are the #1 run offense in the league. I'm looking forward to this.

Yeah, thanks to Demarco Murray we lost that game. But for some reason I'm not nervous playing Green Bay this week.

The Packers offense is suspect. I don't know if it's their WR's not getting open but it's lead to some odd numbers for Rodgers. Also Lacy is banged up.

As for their defense, unproven is the best word that comes to mind. They've done an amazing job of stopping the run but who have they faced? Keep in mind Peterson got hurt when they faced Minnesota. They haven't seen anything close to Dallas' run game and no back near as good as Zeke is. I expect the Dallas run game to be dominant again.

I also expect we will see Mathews get blown up by Zeke on a blitz pickup.

All packer opponents are in the bottom 9 in rushing offense. They haven't been tested yet. Rodger's passing percentage is also very low. I'm not worried at all going into green Bay as long as we take care of business.

Only thing that "worries" me... all the talking heads are picking the Cowboys. That's never a good thing. I prefer the crickets silence.

And the Egals will find out exactly where they are in another 2 weeks. The bottom of the NFC East.

First place in the NFC east, number over all in the NFC and hopefully we will be punching our ticket to this year's Super Bowl.

I still fear that the defense will let them down once the playoffs start. There is a good chance we face the Skins again. In the NFC they probably pose the biggest threat to Dallas (other than the Seahawks) because of their offense. Our pass rush sucks ass and our pass defense is suspect at best. I still think the Cowboys will beat them but they're quick strike offense concerns me.

I'm not going to take this past game as a whole picture of our defense. Remember we still have a couple guys out on defense and we lost Heath in that game as well. And these quick turn around Thursday games are hard to recover from, especially on defense. Your right though, Washington has a very good offense and are built in a way to give us trouble. If we do play the Skins again down the road, I fully expect our defense will be healthier and will play better. We really need that first round bye to get our defense healthy and well rested. Especially ours!

True. Mo and Church should both be back before the end of the season. A 1st round bye would be great for those guys to have another week of rest.

We all knew Seattle was going to be in the mix. Washington is a concern, but really, no one else in the NFC scares me. I think we match up extremely well with Seattle. I think we match up better with Seattle than Washington, imho. We'll see where Washington ends up if they make the playoffs and where they end up if they are fortunate to win. Atlanta's offense could make us look bad but we may score every time we have the ball vs. their defense.

Yea Atlanta does scare me. The Giants game in a couple weeks should be interesting too. Right now they're the only team that has beaten Dallas so it will be good to see how both teams are different from week 1.

Giants should win just about all their remaining games except one, us, the Cowboys. They have a favorable schedule down the stretch. We've always played well in New York and we will win that game. More TD's instead of field goals and I'm sure Baily won't miss field goals and extra points this time. Plus I'm not sold on Giants O-line, running game and RB's.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
