Re: Week 6 Matchup Discussion and Game Thread
Somebody help me out here, I can't figure this out. Do Tod Bowles and Bruce Arians know each other or something? I can't tell because this ESPN broadcast team hasn't said ANYTHING about it. Leaving us in the dark.

espen doing whatever they can to generate a small shred of interest in this game.
Then Boger opens his mic and kills shred of interest.

Jets looking like a team that if it has any chance of winning must keep the scoring low. No way they can beat Arizona in a shoot out. Jets also playing like a desperate team with season on the line. Fitzpatrick will have to play well and not turn the ball over. He is the key for the Jets.

In other words, they're screwed.

Its starting to look that way. At least he hasn't turned the ball over as of yet. If he does you can stick a fork in the Jets for this game and the season.

I have a question. We are in the middle of football season. Why is it dead in here all the time?

I see Swearinger is still capable of knocking the crap out of people, lol.
Nice hit.
Nice hit.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

This is one of the most awful football games I've watched in a long time. Waaaaay too many penalties. It's almost unwatchable. Just switched the ALCS to the big screen.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

dump me in the ignorant bin, but arent mormons suppose to do nothing but pray on sundays? i remember that was one of the snags about byu's inclusion to a bigger conference, their basketball team refused to play on sundays or something.

You'll have to excuse us as it's difficult to tell when you're actually trying to be funny as opposed to your normal musings. There's not much difference in the two, you see.
theres no spiritual or physical law that says I cant do both at the same time.
Well actually... I should have been clearer.
You're just not funny.

not so much pray all day on sunday
there isn't really a do or do not list, but it's typically a day to spend time with family, and yes to try and stay spiritual (kinda like how buddhists meditate but not ALL day)
it's supposed to he a day of rest so we try not to have other people work so that's why a lot of members of the LDS Church don't go to the restaurant, store, or football game on sunday.
There are only about 40% mormons on the wasatch front, which has a 2 million population. 60% of that from the top of my head is around 1,200,000 of non members that live less than an hour away from the stadium. Which can certainly support an NFL team.
