If Kluber starts this game, we're getting swept. Maybe Francona will have mercy on us and give us a shot to win one game.

And oh yeah,

I want a win but I'm smart enough to know that it might not happen.

Maybe Kluber bombs on super short rest and we get back into the series. Idk. Just do your best and don't be the worst.

I can't imagine it not being a clean sweep.

Last year a similar team in the Royals credited its advance scouts for the ALCS. Looks like the same deal this year, particularly with their pitching. And they're just a better team overall.

I will be at the game. I'm expecting a solid outing from Sanchez and Kluber won't be as sharp on short rest.

We got this!

Seeing 2-0, 2-1, and 4-2 is really depressing. Every game is "attainable", but not at the same time.

Someone call up Big Papi and make him a honorary captain for the rest of the season for 04 Red Sox magic.

Imagine if we had won Game 1 like we should have. Sanchez would be starting tomorrow with a chance to tie the series and Estrada and Happ would be lined up for the next two games. Still pisses me off that we blew off those golden scoring chances that Kluber was giving us and wasted Estrada's great start.

I think we take at least one in this series. Kluber was solid but we managed guys on base a few times his last start. Hopefully the short rest plays in our favour. Confident Sanchez will keep us in this one.

That's what's killing me too.

And also keeping my hopes alive. I know our offense is horse **** and we likely lose tomorrow.

But I still look and see Sanchez, Estrada, Happ then either Stro/Sanchez and the homer in me thinks, "Just get 1 game and go from there" :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

We've blown so many great opportunities in this series - not even close to the team that swept away the Rangers

Hoping to win at least 1 game. We win this then we have Estrada and Happ for the next two. You never know

According to Yahoo Sports, history doesn't favour the Toronto Blue Jays coming back from an 0-3 deficit in the best-of-seven ALCS series.

Since the League Championship Series became a best-of-seven in 1985, teams that have won Game 2 of the ALCS have advanced to the World Series 80 per cent of the time. And teams that are down 0-2 in the ALCS and NLCS have rallied to win the series just three times out of 27.

Only once in the history of this sport has a team – the 2004 Boston Red Sox – rallied from an 0-3 deficit in a best-of-seven series.

Monday night's ALCS Game 3 is as close to being a must-win for the Toronto Blue Jays as it can be without actually being a must-win.

A loss and the Blue Jays' season isn't officially over. They would be down 0-3 to Cleveland and if they can't win four games before their next loss, that next loss will be their last. Season done, and quickly headed into an offseason of uncertainty with longtime stars Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion headlining their list of free agents.

Only once in the history of this sport has a team – the 2004 Boston Red Sox – rallied from an 0-3 deficit in a best-of-seven series.

Even before Monday's first pitch at Rogers Centre, the odds are already stacked against them. Since the League Championship Series became a best-of-seven in 1985, teams that have won Game 2 of the ALCS have advanced to the World Series 80 per cent of the time. And teams that are down 0-2 in the ALCS and NLCS have rallied to win the series just three times out of 27.

Good luck, Toronto. Hey, at least the likelihood of a comeback is slightly better than their batting average against Cleveland reliever Andrew Miller – 1-for-12 with 10 strikeouts – through the first two games.

The Blue Jays' offence is back to being silent after catching fire in the first week of the postseason and Bautista is talking about "circumstances" (see, umpires) being a determining factor in that sudden change. Their status as a team that must hit home runs to score has been more or less confirmed, and that's not something that will change any time soon.

We couldn't win 1 of 3 against the Indians, the god damn Indians! I hope we all enjoyed our little run because it's over, we are back to the junk team that can't compete.
