Thought it's an interesting read. Although it's from a Fantasy Basketball perspective, some of the reasoning are spot on, especially on his massive advantage over Westbrook on 3pt shooting, and the expected closer gap in assist numbers.

If any of you are still interested in a league...

For the past two seasons, I've been running a fantasy basketball league only open to RealGM members. In Year 1, we had 259 posts in our discussion thread on the RealGM forums: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1351269 In Year 2, we decided to use the league messenger on Yahoo and had active discussion almost every day. Plenty of the active members came back for Year 3, but we still need some new guys to reach 16. If you want to join, I really urge that you're someone who's not only going to be active in the league, but the chat as well. Here are the league details:

Platform: Yahoo
Number of Teams: 16
Format: Head-to-Head One Win
Categories: Standard 9 Category
Draft Type: Standard Live
Time of Draft: Sunday, October 23 4:00 PM PT

Please make sure you can attend the draft. Message me if you are interested in joining the league.

We have 14 members, but still have 2 spots available.

I hope that you find some members to fill out that league. I cannot commit to it, however. Too much potential travel coming up and I'm just a bad person when it comes to keeping up with fantasy sports leagues. I'd rather see you guys get someone who is more committed than I'll be able to be.

Good luck!

It has been fun watching the anti-Harden narrative evolve over the past several months, and fantasy sports are kind of leading the way. I've spoken to several people who are really into fantasy basketball and they are all saying that Harden is probably going #1 overall in most leagues, or close to it.

In real basketball sense it was just a few months ago when the national media chose to snub Harden from the All-NBA teams (for some asinine narrative). It then turned to a summer of woe where the Rockets were doomed, should just close up shop and become an NHL franchise and sell off everything and everyone - especially Harden. Now the pendulum is swinging back, and a lot of these national media types are having to reconcile their apparent hatred of Harden with the fact that they're getting legitimately excited to see this offense in action.
