He's already up and warm and him finishing off the game would be a minor psychological edge in the minds of the Cubs hitters the next time they face him but every little bit helps. Why even contemplate messing with things and possibly, however unlikely, give the Cubs a glimmer of hope of building momentum and adversely affecting our mentality?

that's idiotic by Twitterverse.

two out! one more out to go.

there is no better reliever on both teams' pens right now.

We just shut out the Cubs on an Arieta night... I mean, it's still a long series but that means something.

It means we won Game 3 Kilroy. Let's win tomorrow.

2 things:
1) Back to back shutouts

2) Time to give Yasmani Grandal credit (feel a lot better doing this after the HR). He's carried this staff and bullpen all year. He prepares and knows how to work these hitters. Hes called 2 back to back shutouts.

Let's Go!!!!111

And again... Justin Turner is a hell of a ball player.

They say 'locked-in' a lot... See him.

Yeah, no time to rest on our laurels, but the Dodgers are deserving of recognition since the media and nation, in general, are rooting for and praising the Cubs. They're still the most balanced team in baseball with the best regular season record, so we should not take them lightly.

I anticipated them to be a tough matchup and they still can be if we let them build confidence, so I'm for finishing them off as soon as possible. This would also set us up ideally to face the next opponent in the World Series with Kershaw and Hill starting Games 1 and 2. Roberts and his staff have employed a good game plan against Chicago thus far and I hope they continue to do so. Just don't mess around with them. It would be inviting disaster to happen.

Every year I feel like this is the Dodgers year.

Back to back shutouts.
That's how you do it

Now, game 4. Got to take the 3-1 lead. This game is gonna be huge.
I want to see urias pitch
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

That 2nd inning was critical.

I thought hill would get run from the game. Yas really kept hill calm and collected, got the strikeout with runners on 2nd and 3rd. Huge.

My thought all along is if we're up 3-1 or down 3-1, Kershaw gets game 5.

If we're 2-2, I want him there for the inevitable Game 6 at Wrigley.

Yaz's comments about Cubs stealing signs...
I think what they weren't saying about that stretch was that their attempts to mask the signs were out of synch. If you noticed they started going to multiple signs as soon as Rizzo got on... I don't think they were trying to hold him on first with all the pick-off throws, I think Hill was trying to keep his leadoff short enough that he couldn't steal signs... But then when he made it to second, they were relying on a 'code' that Hill and Yaz didn't have enough time with to have down.
I'm sure they had to rotate the code throughout, but Hill keeping the hits down helped.

makes perfect sense for that mix up.
