Bender at PG, Chriss at SG. They'll never see it coming.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I'd love to see Chriss at the C and Bender at the PF.....but where does that leave Len? I'm not saying that Len should start at C, nor even implying that the suns should resign him. But if the future is Chriss/Bender, then what do the suns do with Len NOW. He's an RFA after this season, so this means they should trade him soon. What type of player should they go after, and what kind of package should they muster to bring back a star player?

If we keep Len, he can be Chriss' backup.

How much are you prepared to keep Len for? Chances are, because of his youth, he'll get on offer or two for at least $15mil per.....probably more.

So, if the Sun's are not prepared to spend $30mil on two backup centers, then they have to look to trade him.

I should put the answers in the poll in different order. Now it looks like the poll is rude

I would think Chandler comes off the books before Chriss becomes our full time starter at C, or at least, before Chriss gets paid. I'm sure Chandler wouldn't be a hard sell to any team, either as a cheap vet to a contending/ rebuilding team, or an expiring to a capped out team.

3 years from now I see our starting front court as Warren, Bender and Chriss and nobody will have a clue which of the 3 is our small forward or our power forward or our center. And I'm okay with that.

Plus we'd have a true stretch 5. I could see this as well, but I don't expect much from this year. Just too many young guys who will have key roles, even if Booker is one of those, I just don't see us finishing with more than 30 wins.

In this upcoming draft, with a huge amount of 1s and 3/4s available near the top of the class, I think we take someone at one of those spots. 5 is also a need with Chandler getting old. Ideally, if we can grab a pick or 2 for Tucker and Chandler, we can grab a 5 later on in the draft.

I think the reality is Chriss is a 4/5 and Bender a 3/4 with very different skill sets. Chriss is more ready to contribute offensively. Bender is geared towards more of a defensive, high IQ game where he should be a tremendous role player with huge versatility and defensive ability. Chriss probably starts imo, with Bender being the primary backup at the 3 and 4, and even occasionally seeing a few minutes at the 5 (in the future after adding weight).

I think this is pretty spot on.
