Justice was served, but Rose was also fortunate how much of a slam dunk this trial was. Someone more intelligent and clever could have really screwed him over.

I've gotten in trouble for shooting off my mouth on this topic, so this will be my last post discussing it. That said, the media's (and General Board's) handling of this case has been racially driven from the beginning. I mean, people (including mods) were posting statements that not only had Rose raped this girl, but that he'd had an LAPD officer killed for investigating this incident. Apparently, Rose used his "gangbanger connections" (you know, 'cause he's black) to order the hit.

I'm glad it's done. I'm glad it worked out for Rose, whose own statements often didn't help either. Thankfully, the plaintiff was even more foolish than he.....

I'm really happy for Rose. The justice system worked this day. And you're right, there were guys here KILLING Rose like he dragged a girl off the street or slipped something in her drink and ravaged her in a helpless state. Embarrassing. Come the f*ck on.

The jury is 6 women, 2 men. Apparently most of them are white, and more than once some of them have been described as looking hurt by the accuer's testimony/tears and one of the males were outright described as looking uncomfortable/disturbed when Randall Hamtpon described using lube.

Rose will lose this trial, unfortunately. I also see them giving her the full 21m she requested

I'm pretty sure this topic is covered during the week long orientation rookies have to go through in Florham Park ,NJ (not far from where I grew up). they cover things like responsible wealth management, paparazzi, and I have to assume gold diggers like this woman

I got the impression if D Train made it back for practice and wanted to play...he would let him. Hornacek just didn't think that would be the case.

Im glad Rose didn't settle like some people here wanted him too. If a goldigger is after your money, and she ain't got no evidence, then she don't deserve one cent of it. Rose knew he was gonna win from the beginning, so why even think about settling. FOH
