Why does Kendrick hit everything weakly on the ground? We couldn't score a run because we did more bluffing than base running only to end the inning on what would have been a double-play ball if we had 1 out.

With all the gamesmanship employed by the Dodgers, they still have to execute plays and hit the ball. Otherwise, it's just a distraction not only for Lester, but for us as well.

I've tried to wrap my head around why lefties cant hit lefties.

That type of pitch is why IMO.

it is also because we don't have any real good baserunners. if we had Micah on the roster to be a designated pinch runner, he could make the difference in say, around 6th with Lester's pitch count past 90.

damn, glad Marquez's blown call didn't hurt us. nice K by Kenta!
