Loved how Ingram's court vision was on display this game. Even though his assist to turnover ratio was 1 to 1, you could always tell that his passing was an underrated part of his game while he was in college.

Pachulia wasn't facing the Warriors offense, how'd Dallas do last year against the Warriors? Guards who can efficiently shoot the pull up J are a bad matchup for bigs who can't hedge in the PnR. There are no 7 footers who can reliably effect Steph's shot while containing him in the PnR, the only guy is probably Anthony Davis (you could argue Steve Adams but he did it last year against an injured Steph). This is why players like Steph Curry, Damian Lillard, CP3, and Kyrie Irving are so valuable. Thankfully there are only a handful of these guards in the league and our own Russell is becoming one in his own right.

The Warrios got 8 offensive rebounds bud. But here's the problem... You're talking about 1 maybe 2 games lol. I'm talking about ALL OF PRESEASON lol.

Moz had a really good game 1 and pulled down 9rbs. Since then we've been out rebounded in the following 6 games by 56rbs (292-236). We've given up 69 offensive rebounds in those 6 games (About 11per game). 4 of those games we gave up 13 or more offensive rbs. In those other 6 games Moz is averaging 3.83rbs a game. I ain't talking about 1 or 2 games, where he could potentially have a couple off nights. I'm TALKING ABOUT 6 GAMES lol.

Same goes for the defensive side. I ain't talking about him being able to shut down Steph Curry in PnR for the rest of the season. He could potentially play great defense and Curry could still go off (In which case, I'd probably point out the fact that he played great D regardless of the situation). I'm talking about him guarding the PnR EVERY GAME since the start of preseason lol. Don't get me wrong, he's had some great moments, and I'm rooting for him, but a majority if the time it hasn't looked good. I'm not talking about 1 or 2 games tho. Especially 1 or 2 games against the Warriors, when I've personally said they're gonna make a lot of teams look bad this year. Including some really good ones.

Not all 8 of the offensive rebounds were with Mozgov on the court, that's the reason I only counted the starters. Unless you're tracking all of the orebs the other team gets and why they get them (specifically if it's Mozgov at fault), that's the best metric to go with.

Regardless, I don't particularly care about individual stats, I think we will be fine rebounding as a team. Even last year with Hibbert (notoriously bad rebounder) starting and playing Bass as backup C (average rebounder as PF but terrible at C), we were slightly below average in rebounding. This year we're replace Hibbert with Mozgov, Bass with Black, and Kobe with Deng which is a rebounding upgrade at every major front court position. We should be at least an above average rebounding team this year.

Before the 2 Warriors games there were compliments (by people who I think are quite respectable) on Mozgov's defense. Maybe it's because I watched Hibbert all of last year but I'm satisfied with Mozgov's defense.

Lol ok.

I could respond but this conversation has taken an awkward turn to who knows where lol. It seems like you completely abandoned all your previous points, now your on new ones. Ima let go the fact thay Moz is averaging 4.56rbs per and Roy averaged 4.9rbs per. I dont think it matters what I say. I get the sense we've gotten to that point where you've convinced yourself you won't be wrong on this one and you're gonna keep tossing out new points out until they stick lol. That'll just take us forever. It's all good bud. I'm not here to argue with you, or the people you respect lol. We'll see how the season goes, and hopefully it all turns out. Should be a fun one.
