this peaked my interest. Kiki Vandeweghe is the all-time (well.. since 83-84) leader in being a forward, yet not grabbing a single rebound. there have been six games where a forward or center played at least 44 minutes and didn't record even one rebound. Kiki has four of those:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pgl_finder.cgi?request=1&match=game&age_min=0&age_max=99&pos_is_f=Y&pos_is_fc=Y&pos_is_c=Y&pos_is_cf=Y&c1stat=trb&c1comp=lt&c1val=0&c2stat=mp&c2comp=gt&c2val=40&order_by=pts

Pat Garrity and Clifford Robinson are the first power forwards to appear at 42 minutes w/out a rebound. Brad Sellers seems to be the first 7-footer at 37 minutes. John Amaechi is the first guy I consider a real center at 34 (though guys like Sam Perkins and Sellers himself were pretty huge but.. that's the 80s for you, they were power forwards back then).
