18 Auguste - i prefer Robinson and MWP as 3rd PF
17 - Yi - we have Mozgov, Black and Zubac, we can play smallball with Randle-Nance. Im afraid that FO think about chinese market and could not cut him. Cause he really dont deserve to spot in roster
16 - N.Young - if we cant trade him, cut him. He could have horrible impact to our youngs.

And of course trade Lou!

Expect Lou has no value so we're stuck with him. So bye bye Jacobs, Wear, Augustine, Robinson, and MWP.

If the Lakers are looking to possibly free up an additional roster spot, I would hope they find a way to move Lou. Everybody's talking about Nick leaving, but Lou is the one that has to go, imo. His game isn't a fit for Walton's offense, and he plays negative defense.

ZOOM!!!!!

The reason why everyone is talking about Nick leaving is because he's a trouble maker and Lou isn't.

If playing no defense is a reason to be traded then why do we still have Russell? Last night he was beyond horrible on that end of the floor. Bad position, no vision, low effort and no sense of a team defensive scheme. By enlarge, most of our team isn't good at defense. Lou is not good either but at least he shows effort and understands how to approach a screen.

It depends on what we are trying to do with this team. It's constructed to take a run at potentially making the playoffs IMHO. Deng, Mozgov, Lou, Yi, Black and Calderon are all second tier vets. It could be that if we have say, 7 to 10 wins at the All Star break we dump most of our Vets and develop the kids. If we have 20 or more I could see the front office wanting to keep Jimmy in the chair and therefor having a Lou Williams has value. It's a strange roster for sure. I think the odds of this group making a playoff run are very, very small.

Um. Please catalog the list incidents of "trouble making" you're referring to, please. Thank you. And, please, lets not delve into the whole "Nick-Iggy-Russell" situation. That "trouble" was none of his making, and he shouldn't be punished for being human. Had the issue remained private, none of us would be talking about it. Everybody's trying to move on, so it's dead.

If you want to refer to his sub par performance under Byron, than by that thinking, everyone on the roster who played under Byron should be cut. No one played well, consistently, unfortunately.

People are sheeple, and still cling to this "bad boy" image of Nick. Despite his flaws, Nick could be a value to this team, unless someone were to illumine a better option at the wing position, who can shoot and defend? That's certainly not Lou Williams.

If Lou and Nick can hit spot up 3-pointers, they'all have a lot of value for us. I actually liked them with D'Angelo, Randle, and Mozgov. Having 3 shooters on the floor is a huge plus.

I like Thomas Robinson's intensity. Can't have enough of those.

problem is he's kind of redundant at that position and he doesn't do anything better (mostly worse) or different than any of the bigs in the lineup in front of him... add he has no shot.. once he gets past 2 feet from the rim his shooting % drops to 19% from 3 to 9 feet and 9 % anything past that.. horrible free throw shooter. Not sure if keeping a roster spot open for a career 5 rebound 5 points per game guy who'll see very little playing time is worth it. almost better vacating the spot completely and having it open incase a trade happens during the season

This is going on his 5th season and I'm pretty sure what we've seen is what he's got

The last man to make the team is really irrelevant to the success or future of the team. We're a 17 win team. The last slot on a second worst team in the NBA....

Of the ones being mentioned I'd say the only one who could really help us would be Yi. He's still young enough and skilled enough. That's a significant long shot even at that because he's not got the mental approach for the NBA.

Maybe not on a veteran laden squad but a team this young with this many unproven assets those last spots on the roster carry a lot of weight

Young will make the 14th spot but will probably even start or get valuable minutes. Metta should be coach by now... Yi should be cut
Robinson should make the cut... Randle/Nance/Robinson at PF not too bad

You need a Mad Dog on every team. Robinson is that energy and hustle guy. Madsen couldn't shoot the ball to save his life either. But, he contributed with energy that won us rings, pumped up the whole team and the arena with his effort during the few minutes he got when Harry or Slava (!) were in foul trouble.

I want to hire MWP as a development coach, and I'd like to sign AB and Robinson to the two last spots, ship Yi back to China but I doubt that's gonna happen because of the 1B plus potential fan base (money) he brings.

I wish we'd cut Anthony Brown and keep Yi and Robinson.

With the emergence of Young, we don't need another wing in Brown.

I don't get keeping Brown either. It's been pretty obvious that he isn't going to make it at this level. That's different than not ready for this level.

Robinson does little for me and I'd send Young out too if someone would give us a bag of chips for him. Not quite sure why we've mixed journeyman vets with a team that is in need of so much court time for it's younger and developing players. Young does nothing but take time away from others who need it more than he does.

We need to move a lot of average players to create playing time for our own rookies and taking on gambles like Robinson.

The likes of Calderon, Brown, Lou and Yi should all be moved.

Robinson has impressed me with his hustle
NY is even playing with some intensity he lacked last season
Yi : I like his size and length. He appears strong enough to hold some players defensively ; but all that doesn't come without more conditioning

Its a tough call

I think only Brown, Metta, and Yi... average would be kind for Yi

As bad as Anthony Brown has been, I still think we should keep him. 3&D players who can defend multiple positions are so valuable and hustle bigs are everywhere. I really don't care who makes the final roster spot but I do think Lou + Yi could potentially be an interesting trade combo (TRob has definitely outplayed Yi/MWP/Brown).

I think Yi makes it. He offers floor spacing (or at least the threat of it) that our other bigs don't have. More importantly though, his contract structure makes him an interesting filler at the trade deadline.

Cutting both to take a flier on Ben Bentil is an interesting thought though.
