At training camp I thought 12-4 or 13-3 was a great possibility, then Teddy went down, was then thinking 9-7 or 8-8. When we got Sam, was back to 12-4..
With AP out, I don't think we miss much except for the potential to hit a home run when AP touches the ball.

Mike Zimmer deserves a lot of credit, our defense is championship caliber.. Just sit back and enjoy, and rub it in the Packers face.

wooo another very solid (non-dramatic) win

we are just soundly beating teams now, never in danger with the quick start

injuries continuing will be a concern going forward (especially on the oline which i think is being held together by tape at this point), hopefully we can get some guys healthy over the bye

This is an interesting team, not really comparable to the recent great Vikings teams in that it's being led by the defense and without any superstars. The late '80's, early '90's is probably the last time we had good teams led by our defense. It's been a long time since we've had a good team that wasn't being led by Randy Moss, Adrian Peterson or Brett Favre.
I still feel a little cautious just because Sam Bradford is playing so much better than we could have ever expected, eventually he'll probably come back to earth some. At some point we're going to turn the ball over, and hopefully we can overcome adversity.

at this point i think the greater concern is health, specifically along the offensive line - some of that goes back to bradford in that can he hold up the whole year. it seems to me that something is just different with bradford that if he did start to be bad/mediocre something (probably health wise) is up. its been four games now and he's just been really solid, don't see why that wouldn't continue assuming all else remains equal

remember his wr core isn't filled with studs (like the giants), and there have been some injuries and he's been playing (what we thought before the season) were pretty good teams with some solid defenses

Our offensive line has been pretty close to replacement level all year. I'm just not sure how much worse it can get even signing guys off the street.

If he's healthy and hasn't lost too much of his game.. He will be good!! Zimmer dose it again! My personal opinion, Jake Long will be our best lineman by playoffs and he gets a new contract next year. SKOL

We have Ronnie Hillman on the roster. I don't know if he's active.

We're in trouble if Bradford doesn't start playing better.

i think the positive i'm going to take away from this is that this is about the worst we can possibly play (on offense and special teams)

and that the defense is still great, but it can't always win games for us

also something that has gone unnoticed is they are kicking touchbacks each time so patterson isn't even getting a chance - so we can't get any spark from a big return

Not scoring on those first 2 turnovers is when I first started to worry. Really the defense should have been able to score themselves both times. If they do, we probably win.

no mckinnon or sendejo

we're getting pretty banged up (outside of the oline which has been there for weeks)
