Who is going to walk in 2 years. You don't give up Bender and a pick along with 30ppg in scoring (or more) for 2 years when the team still won't get you more than a 7th or 8th seed.

There..... I said it 8-)

Frank, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who values Goodwin, so I don't know how he's an over valued player.

Ahem.. Me too

But if Suns arent going play him I think they ahould trade him for a late first early second as a minimum. He has shown he can score and mingle with NBA players so thats worth something.

Is it a lack of depth at the C positions or the natural way the game is heading that has made most contenders void of an stud center.
Lebron has not won a championship playing along side an all star center. The Warriors had Bogut (defensive minded, solid passing, but not an all star). Tim Duncan I felt like was more of a PF playing out of position.

Say we trade Warren/Bender/Len/knight/goodwin and a combo of picks for Cousins. Would it work?
Booker/ Cousins would draw comparison to Harden/Howard which for whatever reason just did not work. Can a remake of Kobe/ Shaq actually win a championship?.

I am of the view it won't work. I believe we may make the post season and then fizzle. In this day and age a versatile 7 footer (Bender) is more useful than a dominate center(Cousins).

I agree with your premise that a dominant C isn't needed in today's NBA game. But you could similarly argue that Cousins is as versatile as he is dominant. He's extremely mobile for a 6'11 280lb guy. He has some 3PT range and he can run the floor. He's more versatile and dynamic athletically than most big men before him. He's a tier below the DeAndre Jordan level of C mobility but he's not too far behind.

I doubt a team of Booker/Cousins would be enough but neither would Booker/Anyone else. A team effort is required to win and if we had the right system, I don't see why Booker/Cousins couldn't be the offensive options on the team.

Bledsoe / Ulis
Booker / Barbs
Dudley / Tucker
Chriss / Dudley / Tucker
Cousins / Chandler / Williams

Is that a top ten team ?

Cousins is amazing but I'm not sure if I want a 5 who isnt a premier rim defender on this team.
If you want to gamble on a multi skilled bigman, just trade for Okafor

Better yet, trade for Favors.
I highly endorse this move who would make sense for both teams.

RJ Hunter waived.
I bet Spurs will claim him.

Yep. You can have too many assets. The more important thing is to have better assets. I would trade Archie for the right to trade picks with a team that is expected to finish similar to the Suns. Its worth the risk just to have the option.

If Bledsoe is healthy and Chriss develops then yes it's top ten. Sad thing is I m not sure that gets us in the finals in the next cpl years as we still have GSW and SA miles ahead of the above team. Heck, I m not even sure this team beats the Clippers in a 7 game series...
And a healthy Bledsoe and a well developed Chriss at the same time is a pretty big if.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Chriss: I think my potential is endless. I think I’m capable of a lot of things that I can work on. I’ll keep growing. I’m showing the things I’m capable and I’m also capable of developing skills I haven’t shown yet. I think that being an All-Star is a great possibility. I think everybody hopes to be an All-Star and one of the greats but you have to work for it and I’m willing to.

I've been asking for this trade since last season

It's hard to want Vucevic when he's the one guy Len consistently dominates. Not to mention we need defense and rebounding from our center position more than scoring, now and going forward. So... no. I wouldn't trade Len for Vucevic straight up.

We are keeping Jenkins for the season. No need for Hunter in Phoenix.
