We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

BOOM. First free taco is in the books.

That's the most important thing, and don't forget it.

Couldn't they have made a deal with a good taco place?

Cubs don't seem to fear Andrew Miller.

Indians take game 1 in commanding fashion 6-0....

This Cleveland teams seems so special, and IF Cubs lose game 2, you know the doubt will start to creep in heavily. It might just be Clevelands year, 2016, 216... seems to make sense to me.

I've watched almost every Cubs game this year and they are just too tough to beat in 7 games. Kluber and Andrew Miller can't pitch every game.

Hendricks will give them a 2-1 series lead on Friday. Saturday will be another tough one with Kluber on the mound. Sunday should be a win with Lester. So I'll take the Cubs in 6.

Does anyone have any numbers/anecdotal examples of Kluber on short rest? Does it generally affect him or no?

Game 4 vs TOR he pitched on short rest, 3 days. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits in 5 innings of work. Although that was with CLE up comfortably 3-0 in the series, so wasn't as pressing of a start necessarily.

Amazing game.

Someone please keep track of the amount of heart attacks that occur/have occurred so far in the Chicago/Cleveland areas tonight, I imagine it must be much higher than normal.

Buck showed little excitement when Crisp had his hit. You'd think he's rooting for someone.

Cubs fans were fairly quiet. You could feel the tension through the TV. Still hard to pick a winner.

Poor job by the homeplate umpire last night. 10 pitches called balls that were strikes, 8 of which favored Cubs. 9 pitches called strikes that were balls, 8 of which favored Cubs. That's abhorent, that umpire should not be behind the plate again this year. If your consistently bad or consistently good, at least be consistent for both teams.
