Also I had a massive smile on face when Bertans came in and dominated garbage time. I love this kid.

Kawhi was insane. His game looks like its evolved even more over the summer. I know he was training with Kobe, his handles resembled it at times.

Patty and Manu with the performance of the bench too.

Would've like to see Murray come in at the end, but there's plenty time for that.

That was a fun game to start the season! GS will come together but, I like the way we matchup against them. I'm curious to see how we do against teams who can out muscle our front court. We may be fine against teams like that but, I'm interested to see how we approach it.

I feel as good about our chances this year as I have in quite a while...

The Kings should be a decent test for that tomorrow. Our interior defense was brutal at times last night, Pau's going to have step his game up big-time tomorrow.

I think what was most impressive about last night was for you lot to go to Golden State and win every quarter! Even in the fourth quarter when you expect some comeback from Golden State at least.

I hope Kawhi has an MVP year and establishes himself as a top 5 NBA player.

Couldn't stay up for the game last night. **** gutted. How did we look without Timmy on D? Is Aldridge taking over a bit more?

When Gasol was in interior defense looked awful, it was much better with Dedmon patrolling the paint.

Kawhi really took this one over but LMA did do a great job as his second fiddle. He got easy buckets in the paint, rebounded well and played pretty solid defense. He's still the post twitter account LMA.

My opinion:

Gasol is perfect on offense, great fit, shoot, pass, screen, couldn't ask for more.

Aldridge still not looking comfortable. I know people will want to dispute this, but his role on the Spurs is actually quite limited in design, finish on PnR, shoot open long mid range jumpers and get offensive rebounds. Most of the time his post ups were awkward got pushed away by much smaller Green and he lost the ball dribbling high post a couple of times. Got some o-boards which he absolutely has to get this season. On defense, bad, slow feet on any penetration, slow feet on fastbreaks, no rim protection what so ever. This isn't good because Gasol also has slow feet on rotations.

This is Kawhi's team clearly. What a beast and continues to go about it quietly. Having Gasol clearly helps with spacing for him.

Parker looking fresh. Jonathan Simmons want to play, wow is he athletic. David Lee is a nice signing, much better fit than West.
