Spike should have pressured him to take the fight.

Bellator has signed Ralek Gracie. First time I hope a pro MMA organization doesn't pay their fighter.

The irony of ironies is him railing against Dream when he didn't get paid when he fought for them. Now he doesn't pay his guys.

Scum of the earth.

I'm excited for this fight. And I'm sure we will also get 15 minutes of Chael clowning Tito and then Tito stammering like a kid with a strutter trying to come up with a witty comeback. Which is always a good time.

It's a good main card in totality. Would be worth it's own thread if there was a couple more quality under-card fights.
The new Bellator has to do a better job of backing up their main card with 1 or 2 more fights at close to the same quality. Neiman Gracie is out there and a couple other guys with good records, but it doesn't add up to give it a full major event feel.

Of the other fights, I'm interested to see:

- if Anderson can use his jab more and with his upright and largely static footwork can avoid the big bomb from Daley. Also if he can time a td and work his underrated jits.

- if Awad can finish the job the cops started.

- if McGeary can avoid enough td's, and threaten from the bottom against a guy that high-level on the ground, otherwise it's going to be another boring Phil Davis fight.

- if Kharitonov is close to the fighter he was before. He hasn't lost since '11 against Barnett, and previously beat Arlovski in the tourney. Historically has beaten Werdum and Overeem. Could be a great signing for Bellator.

Bellator needs an ROI for these guys. I wonder if they can get on CBS now that they officially merged with Viacom. It's bad for the anti-propaganda machine dwindling down to 5 major tv companies in America now, but could have benefit on this front (which pales in comparison to the other one).

I'm sure I've seen Kharitonov look listless and get his ass kicked in kickboxing a number of time since '11.

He also appears to just not give a ****. He used to show up to Pride fights claiming to have no training regimen aside from picking potatoes for his mom. He's not someone you can count on, IMO.

That said: Granite chin, beautiful movement, awesome uppercut. A poor man's Tim Boetsch.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

I'd have to think Coker is looking into that Showtime/CBS model that Strikeforce had. If Bellator could get that kind of TV exposure, that could be a real game changer. They are too big for Spike at this point.

Major MMA is too big for being tape delayed in the western time zones at this point. As much as Joker/Viacom has effed things up, Bellator deserves much better support from their network if they are going to be a viable competitor, and that would be a major positive of this deal. Now Bellator just needs to find their Kimbo or at least Nick Diaz. Maybe it'll be MVP if/when they finally build him properly.

Daley made weight, they still cut the fight due to Daleys body condition...safety concerns.

I don't know what to think. No one's at fault, Daley evidently sucked down.

Brennan Ward just doing everything he can do to get in some extra punches after the ref stepped in.

Yeah, ref grabs arm, so he starts punching with the other, super dirty.

Liam is one of thes eguys who I seem to pick against and he wins anyway, but I don't see how he beats Phil. I think he's more likely to get submitted than submit.

McGeary is a huge LHW.

Davis no trouble getting to mount but not super effective when there.

Liam must seriously be more comfortable inverting out the back door from bottom mount than in bottom half guard. He is just continuously giving it up. Then every single time he gets open guard, he doesn't do sh*t and then gets leg dragged with ease. Also leaving himself open for so many submissions but Phil chooses to be conservative and maintain top control as opposed to jumping on them.

McGeary just spent like 20 straight minutes in the beatdown position and complains that Davis wrestled? ROFLCOPTER.
