Final Roster

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Mon Oct 24, 2016 6:09 pm

Getting to the final roster for today.

The cuts so far include:

PJ Hairston
Le'Bryan Nash
Gary Payton II

I really hope that Glove, Jr. ends up with the Vipers. I have a feeling that someone might sign him, though.

Still waiting on the word about Wiltjer.

Le'Bryan Nash looked like a lottery pick coming out of high school, haven't followed since so idk what happened to him but he and Hairston are good fliers on young guys for this team to make. If Kyle WiltChamberlain gets cut he, GP2, Nash, Hairston will probably be the four players retained on the Vipers. Taylor is bad

Him and polythress are the poster boys for not judging players until the college season is over

I'm upset we lost gp2 but hoping he signs with the vipers...hoping we keep wiltjer, don't know how we can cut him after his display of not being able to miss

Looks like Ennis will be cut but if he passes through waivers the Rockets will try to negotiate a cheaper deal with him. Bobby Brown making it is a head scratcher. Ennis sucks too but he's 22. Guess it pays to be Harden's friend lol

Harrison twins too. But I belive both are getting their shot on a team. One with Memphis and iirc the other with the Hornets and they were touted as top 5 going into college

I liked Ennis in Milwaukee..was hoping he stuck with ya'll and got some opportunities. I think he can be a reliable back up some day in the league. That being sad I think Ennis will get picked up elsewhere before they can "restructure deal" and have him stick around D-League and what not. *if he is indeed cut*

So we're cutting gp2 and ennis? Guessing we're hoping to resign ennis or if he's scooped up then gp2 but both could be picked up

So if ennis and gp2 both gets scooped up

Harden/priggs until bev is back healthy
Gordon/kj
Ariza/dekker/brewer
Anderson/Harrell/(wiltjer)
Capela/nene/onuaku

D-league would be wiltjer and onuaku...so we would have 2 pgs inculding harden and just 4 post players while dekker and ariza can play 4

Guessing that last roster spot is hoping for ennis but that would still leave us thin down low. Wish we could trade brewer for nothing and get a 5th big that wouldn't be in the d league

Welp Rockets had a change of heart. Waived Prigioni instead. I dislike this even more than waiving Ennis. How the he'll do you have Brown as a higher priority than Prigioni who played very will in the preseason. Sigh. Maybe they know something I don't I guess.

Yeah if we were gonna wave 1 of prigs and Bobby then how do you cut priggy?

If we're going that route why not cut priggy and Bobby and keep gp2?

I dunno if I can take a whole season of Bullard making My Prerogative jokes whenever B.Brown plays

I'm glad they kept Wiltjer. Reminds me of when Tarik Black made the final roster.

They can still sign dmo but they will have to waive someone. Hopefully it's brown not wiltjer

I feel like part of the reason Brown was kept is because he's completely non guaranteed so they can use him until Dmo is back on the roster and cut ties completely without owing any more money. Could be wrong but it makes sense
