Tanking for three years has completely changed all your mind. Theres no team in this league to be built by claming waivers on scrubs who have been given up by others. Only Hinkie has been keeping doing it these years which makes you thinking its a "sure thing" you have to do to build your team while he has showed you its the least efficient way to find talents. And Im tired of those saying "I believe Hinkie would have done ……" once you are unhappy the team doesn't do as what you hope.

I too think the :"but Hinkie doe" stuff is a bit annoying at this point...however, the media and others spent all year trashing the man because he did **** all to improve the team...and yet here we are again in the same spot...except now its ok because there isn't any rhetoric around it?

naw. IF Hinkie was still here, he'd be getting killed right now for going into yet another season with **** perimeter play.
TBF, we were dealt a bad hand with Simmons and to a lesser extent Bayless' injuries....but the fact is the same major problem from last years squad is still on display. Thats bad.

Archie Goodwin probably doesn't solve that. RJ Hunter probably is worse than Stauskas. No doubt. But activity makes it seem like you are aware of the problem and want to fix it. That inactivity in the name of it not being that much of an upgrade is exactly what got Hinkie canned in the long run. Last year the "fix" was waiting for Marshall remember? Jerry came in and got Ish and people were all on his dick. Not a major improvement in the end but it was something.

Again its not a big deal TO ME at the end of the day. I really like Goodwin's game and think having anyone who could get to the rim would be amazing but I'm not going to lose sleep over it either. But it is just funny how things change when they suit agendas (this goes for both sides).

I think front office has showed you they absolutely aware of the problem by signing three guards on Henderson, Bayless and Rodrigues....
I got understand some of you want to take a gamble on the talent of Goodwin, me too.
But we all know the real sadness are led from the fact that we have to endure another year of "The Sauce Show".

I wonder if Nik was able to meet his teammates' eyes when they all got the news.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Any chance Stauskas can still develop similar to JJ Redick? A big part of that will be just remembering how to shoot like he did in college.

Redick shot 39% from 3 his first two years?

If they really want to do this, fine. It's like 1/30th of the cap. Really hope he doesn't get to play over Hollis to start the year though, didn't earn it in preseason.

It's 3.8 million. If he remembers how to shoot, great. If not (likely), I doubt we'll be needing that space anyway and if we do, I'm sure you can dump it on someone for a couple 2nds.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

Right, that's why I included the part about him remembering how to shoot. But that depends on his pre-NBA shooting being the more accurate representation of his shooting ability and not his NBA career so far. I guess we'll find out.
