Anyone can see he's talented and can eventually be a dominant player. His ability to score on 3 zones, skillset and length makes him a tough player to cover on D. But he needs to limit his jumper off the post and try to get to the line more. Defensively, he has the tools to be an elite rim protector, rebounder and also step outside the perimeter to play defense, which is what's ideal for modern bigs.

Overall, the team needs to learn/find ways for him to play with high + impact.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

the evolution of embiid starts at the 3 point line and will eventually end at the rim.

He will struggle in some departments but the nice thing with Jojo is that he seems to learn from them right away.

Okc is a big team and Adam's is a beast of a human. Add onto that Embiid's first game in 2 years you know his emotions had to be racing. I think he fared extremely well. Not a lot of teams are going to have the bigs to even put up the fight that Adam's did (albeit a losing one). He's in a room without a ceiling and the sky's the limit as long as he stays healthy.

I also think he will need time to find his spots on the floor and get comfy with how tough D he can play without fouling.

Me too, exactly how I feel. Reminds me of another Sixer big shooting 3s, anyone remember Manute Bol? Embiid of course looks better shooting it.

It was thrilling and sad at the same time....thrilling to see Embiid and what the potential is....sad to see the fans be so desperate to see him succeed...Embiid is like seeing a river in the desert after wandering around for 3 yrs.

Having said that, if Embiid and Simmons stay healthy, the Sixers will win a title within 5 yrs

I think you perfectly summed up the Hinkie goal but, at the same time, you found a way to completly miss it.

All the Process is/was about to find a river in the in desert, and maybe (it's only a game) we found it
But it wasn't a 3 yrs trip, you're wrong here.
It was a 10 years journey, since when the AI3 river left Philly.

Of course it would have been nice to have a few bottles of water during the journey in the desert.
We hadn't, but at the end of the day, finding a river or two (hello Simmons) it's the only thing that matters.

Now let's hope our two rivers could really change the sand in grass.

PS: I like the fact the fact that Embiid keeps on referring to The Process.
So everyone who critized Hinkie is forced to remember him.
The more success, the more memory

Congratulations with the W. Can you tell me why Christon played 15 minutes and Payne was left out for almost the entire game?

Joel was great. Energetic, decent jumper and the hesitation of guards driving towards the rim after noticing Embiid. Adams hit a beautiful running hook on Embiid in the first half, those are the kind of shots Embiid should try to add to his already massive repertoire.

Ah, ESPN shows +/- minus 1 for Cameron Payne in the box score. Guess that's not possible while you're out with an injury. Shame though, really like him as a prospect.

Freakin' GLORIOUS DEBUT!! A star has risen.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

Honestly, you shouldn't be allowed to enjoy this. Go away.
