Didnt think id have to complain about stuff like this with Dwight gone but "Rockets DRtg with Capela tonight: 100.5
Rockets DRtg with Nene tonight: 137.1"
So of course we close with Nene!

Cant believe their paying Anderson 20 million a year, he's garbage. The whole roster sucks outside of Harden and maybe Gordon. I was a strong Morey supporter but it's time for him to go. Time for a change. This analytics crap ain't working for s***!

 you do realize that GSW and SAS are big user in analytics. Anderson is not garbage but he was vastly overpaid. Not yet ready to throw in the towel on this team but morey should be on the hot seat

Please tell me your not comparing the Warriors and Spurs rosters to the Rockets! Heck if the Rockets had those rosters then I'd be all in on analytics! But they don't. They just have a real good lazy superstar surrounded by average players coached by a horrible coach.

I know it's just one game, but it's already a bad sign starting of losing to the Lakers.

So just curious, what is everybodies realistic goal for the Rockets this year?

Please don't tell me you took my comment as a comparison of rosters? That's a pretty big leap

Yes it is a bad sign but the season is not over yet

People blaming Analytics at this point are grasping at straws. There's no argument. The best teams are the heavy analytic teams.

Our rebounding rate was also 84% with Clint in and 50% with Nene

Bro, I'm not giving up, I'll never give up...but ennis sucks we need to find a better stop gap than ennis. When bevs back that solves a lot of problems

But ennis is garbage...need a stop gap

If our season is depending on Pat Beverley to save us then the Rockets might as well give up now.

Dekker is not a PF. We need Captain Hook back.

Ariza is awful now. Start KJ at SF.

Harrell was actually a pretty bad rebounder last season, maybe that was sample size but could be a problem.

Would like to see Ariza be a backup SF. At this point I really don't know what he brings to the table that warrants 33 minutes of playing time. KJ is athletic enough to defend 3's and I'd rather have Dekker playing some SF as well for certain matchups.

Would be nice to have D-Mo back to help solidify the rotation a bit, can't rely on Nene for 20-25 MPG every night and if either of our centers get injured we're looking really thin at the 5.

Tough one, we had our chances. It's still early, but our offense will likely be excellent, not sure what our ceiling will be without perimeter defense. Gordon was nice offensively, but looked lost on defense a couple of plays.

I won't judge them until after all star break, but I hope we can get our perimeter defense to improve to give us a good chance.

What is so wrong with losing to a team with a more talented roster? I mean it's an all-pro, 1-2 NBA quality players, a couple old washed up vets, and d-leaguers in Houston... let's not act like it's the Warriors.

my expectations are low, so I won't be upset with team. I do hope DMo comes back and please play Harrell more along with KJ. I don't care if we lose, as long as we play our young guys so we know where they are at this point.

The Lakers are clearly not more talented than the Rockets.

Yeah, I think that can be easily debated and refuted. It's Harden and who? Granted Harden is an all-pro, but who else? Honestly... no bias.. who?

First quote was that we hate losing to y'all not based on rosters...it's the same with the Jazz and mavs or Texans with cowboys....we just don't like y'alls teams but it's as a fun team spirited thing

Second point is, on paper AT THIS POINT were more talented...y'all have more youth with potential and a better coach

Y'all won, please don't troll...I'm hoping no one trolled y'all last night from us and IF we beat y'all in the future I hope we won't troll y'all either

Time to move on to Dallas. Anyone want to start the game thread, or do you trust me at this point?

If anyone knows where the Rockets 3-point shots are, please make sure that they make it to the next game.
