I don't know. I think he balanced it nicely. He started back to the basket in the first half. When Adams started giving him trouble he switched things up and went faceup. Actually showed off his scoring versatility in the post. Shows he won't be easily shut down

He's on a minute restriction right now, just returned from knee rehab and is limited to about 15 mpg. He would have played 30 minutes if he was healthy, should have plenty of opportunities going forward.

No one can deny there were flashes of brilliance tonight, I mean I almost watched an entire 76ers game so something got to be there.

embiid drew a lot of contact in and around the paint and got to the free throw line several times. if he can master this art, he'll truly be a beast

He was probably my favorite draft prospect ever. Then two years of injury hell. He became known more as a social media comedian.

But tonight it was so great to see him finally get the career going. All that skill, footwork, athleticism, it's still there. Lord help this league if this guy stays healthy.

He looked like a franchise player tonight. Way better offensively than I thought he would be and looks ready to average 20ppg.

Hope he does not get injured. Regardless of the Celtic Sixers rivalry, I want to see Embiid succeed. Not just at our expense, I hope.

wow, those first minutes he played, i was shocked, for a guy that big he moves and handles the ball amazingly. Plus his shot is actually really solid, plus he's goto around the basket. If he remains healthy he will win ROY Easily.

Well, I wouldn't mind having 2-3 "transformational talent" (what Sixers FO referred to) with Simmons, Biid and 2017 Sixers pick then have Okafor off the bench to feast off 2nd unit.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

He's a fun player to watch. He has that rare quality where you feel like something special is about to happen everytime he has the ball. I hope he can stay healthy long enough to shake off the rust. As good as he looks, it still seems like he's capable of getting lighter and quicker.

Joel "The Process" Embiid's ascension to the peak of of his sport has been astonishing but all too real. His talents are numerous and should be appreciated that is for certain. His acceleration is almost too rapid to comprehend. He effortlessly roars past his defenders with the sleekness of a Peregrine Falcon. His defender lies motionless, glued to the floor. As he watches this brilliant contortionist slide past him with the greatest ease and confidence his soul wilts till it has reached the point of extinction

His speed and skill is one thing but this is a gentleman with wisdom which belies his true age. This cunning craftsman overwhelms his defenders not only with his physical gifts, which are plenty, but also with his stupendous cerebral approach which can never be underestimated. He utilizes his keen eye for the game and superior guile and ultimately leaves his opponent dismayed and shocked at what has been demonstrated before him. He is a performer, that should be understood, but is also a battle tested warrior looking for new and greater challenges. We are in a great age when we get to see this exquisite athlete perform before us.
