Go look at his advacned stats for the game.
200 ORTG.

Not to take anything away from Siakam but I don't think ORTG is a stat meant to be used for single games, cmon now.

He is going to maintain 200 ORTG for a full season.. 100% sure.

It makes me upset that I knew how good Dunn was going to be and wanted him more than any player in the draft and yet we missed him by one pick.

Welp, this thread doesn't look like it will be near as much fun as last year.

You may be right but that statement seems a bit premature. Lets revisit in december

2016-17 Rookie Watch thread

Post#206 » by username_taken » Thu Oct 27, 2016 8:59 pm

Jaylen Brown's debut was nice. Has good court vision for a wing, high intensity, energy, and athleticism which opens the door for plays the Celtics didn't have the personnel for previously. Clearly still needs to develop the shot but the stroke looks nice and his post game looks strong for a young SF.

It's not much of a premature reaction when you think last year's rookie class was an outlier, once in a couple decades kind of a year. Saying it will be like last year would be compareable to saying Spurs will win 74 games this year.

He gets questionable foul calls at the rim.. Refs seem to favour him for some reason.

The play where he tried to dunk over the white guy who plays for the Nets was awesome. He truly gives no effs when he takes it to the rim.

Fair enough but last years class seems to be a lot better than many thought. And that wasnt established after one game, so again lets wait a couple of games.

^This. Also this thread gets Embiid in addition to this draft class, and Embiid should make the thread damn interesting

Can we make a Sophomore Watch Thread? The debate about it will be almost the debate about the future of the league.

Looking through box scores and Wade Baldwin looks like another rookie worth keeping a eye on this season

He also plans to break the 100m WR after the championship ceremony.
