Who would ever take Drummond over KAT?
I think it is an unfair comparison anyway because I thin that Drummond is a 5, and KAT is a 4.
That being said, KAT is much more talented than Drummond. Drummond is only a defensive player. Offensively he is devoid of skill and only scores off of his physical prowess.
Drummond is more comparable to Deandre Jordan or Ben Wallace. Players that dominate in certain facets of the game, but are incompetent in other facets.
KAT, AD, and Embiid are complete players.

The exact opposite of this is true. Drummond actually has good touch around the rim, has some moves on the block and is developing solid footwork. His offensive game is definitely not devoid of skill, his development there has actually been very promising. His defense is actually what is most disappointing about his game, his understand of positioning, angles, help defense instincts and awareness is bad and his post defense is mediocre. He can be great at times but on the whole, he's a huge underachiever on defense.
In no way does Drummond have good touch around the rim. Are we watching the same game?
Drummond is a physical specimen, and scores due to his athleticism. He is an elite rebounder, and marginal rim protector, that is a physical beast, but he doesn't have any offensive skill whatsoever. His touch is so bad that he shoots what from the free throw line? Maybe 50%?
Drummond is a stud. Don't get me wrong, but he isn't in the class of KAT, AD, or Embiid.

Yes, he actually does have good touch around the rim, idk what you're talking about. Touch around the rim has nothing to do with shooting form. You can have soft hands when it comes to finishing around the basket and still not have a good shooting stroke or be a good FT shooter. I'm sure you think Shaq also had poor touch around the rim, right?
And offensively he has up and unders, jump hooks, drop steps, etc. He has moves down low. If you think he's completely devoid of skill I doubt you've watched much of him at all. He's a very inconsistent player and easily rattled mentally, which can take him out of games, but to say he has no offensive skill at all and is just a physical specimen like a Deandre Jordan is blatantly false.
And I never said he was in the class of a KAT, AD, or Embiid in terms of upside. I'm just pointing out that your breakdown of his game is straight up wrong.
