We really missed Darren Collison this game. With him, I wouldn't have had to watch Ben get picked twice in a row. That changed the whole game.

With Collison, Willie would be our only problem. The passing lanes open up with him on the floor even though someone with his size and speed and length should take all those angles away. It's like he doesn't position himself well.

Then there's the pretty serious issue that he had 0 rebounds, 0 blocks, and 0 steals. In fact, he's the worst rebounder on the team, two games in.

It might be a good idea to give Casspi his minutes.

If the Kings keep playing with that effort, and with Collison coming back eventually, then this season is going to be a lot of fun. As I've said before, it's not so much the losing, but the way we've been losing. There was not a lot to be upset about last night, certainly less than the Warriors, and I bet Coach Pop was taking us a whole lot more seriously than the Warriors the other night during timeouts and halftime.

I don't think Coach likes Casspi.. It's a damn shame really. Casspi is solid.

Who do you think should sit so Casspi can play? IMO Casspi isn't playing because he's simply worse than the other players at his position which from a team standpoint is a good problem to have.

I wouldn't look to trade Casspi since the Kings are pushed against the cap AND at his price tag you probably get same or worse talent in return. However if Casspi wants out I'd trade him for a late first if a championship contender thinks he would help.

With Kosta and Ben in the rotation it's going to be hard for some of the other guys to get in and right now that's Casspi. I'm intrigued as to how Joerger will handle Collison when he comes back. There just isn't going to be enough shots for everyone and some players will have to take a step back offensively.

The only concern I have with Collison coming back is his affinity for playing DC and Lawson together. Just like with Kosta and Cuz, in some games it may work, in others it won't.

Didn't like the Barnes at the 4 when LMA was abusing him several times in the game -- luckily, Joerger came to his senses and put in KK instead.

I though KK did a solid job on D -- albeit he was pretty sloppy with the ball i.e. dropping balls, unforced TO's. Dude needs to be more focused.

That was the problem at the end. With Kosta in we couldn't score. With Barnes in we couldn't defend LMA.

As I expected, Casspi got a DNP he's just too much of a risk out there at times and doesn't have a strong skillset. I don't see him playing much this year but he's a personal favorite so I hope he can improve. I expect to WCS's play to improve once he gets to play more with DC/Lawson who will play at a faster pace as compared to Temple. Willie shines in an uptempo game.

Overall, I've never been more excited after a loss. If we continue with that effort and togetherness we should win in the 40s and be in the playoff hunt.
