If they had Reggie Jackson I'd count us out of this one but Ish Smith is pretty terrible so I think we have a decent chance.

Cue Ish dropping 30 on us

Ish is probably the fastest guard in the entire NBA by speed. Luckily he's small and easily blocked. But it's not going to be an easy evening on the perimeter. I'd say just sag off cause he can't shoot, but knowing our luck, he'll be draining 3s all night on us. He did shoot 4 of them opening night and we know Stan is a major proponent of inside out for 3s.

Ish is fast AF. If it's anything like Miami he's going to have a nice layup drill tonight.

Ibaka and Vuc need to step up their interior D!

Biyombo hopefully won't let any layup drills happen tonight if Ibaka and Vuc are failing to play defense.

We have to contain ish smith on the perimeter. As well as not let kcp kill us from 3. If we can contain smith thag will limited penetration from dump offs and put backs for Drummond. Which is what killed us in the Miami game. I really hope biz makes a big diffrence for us on the defensive end. Would be a nice change for once lol.. even if we lose the gane I just want to see us fight and scrap the whole game. That's all I ask for heart and hustle

Don't worry... there'll be plenty of reading material to occupy your time if that happens.

If we lose this one then that's an 0-3 start to the season. Go all in tonight cause we aren't beating Cleveland tomorrow. LeBron always comes to play against the Magic because he's still pissed about the 09 conference finals IMO :-)

Not according to some on here, haha.

Especially going against Drummond though we'll need all bigs.

But most of all we need Elfrid to attack all night. They don't have Reggie Jackson so we need him to go at Ish every chance.

Making the Pistons 0-3 would be big too.

Nice video from Bismack on www.nba.com/magic. Seems like he could have sat there all day talking hoops. He covers watching the game from wherever he lives and screaming at the TV. He wished he was there to be a leader and help teammates do a better job.
