If your mum stopped saying yes all the time the number would be much, much lower.

I thought it's another girl. I've seen a lot of Jennifer Lawrence...

another quality win. that's 2 conference road wins, both the home opener for the other squad. lots of energy from the home team, fought off and overcome.
I really like this team so far. they have a little salt to them which is nice. don't kid yourself, Zeller was baiting Whiteside in the 1st half and it worked to a degree. "bait Whiteside to make him foul or lose focus" is a tried and true Clifford strategy against MIA at this point. feels like either a new side to Zeller this season, or maybe I'm just noticing it for the first time. he's got a little bit of wrestling heel to him. I like it.
Hibbert going down almost threw a wrench into things. you could see Hawes looking to the sideline during free throws in the 2nd quarter, wondering when he was coming out. with that in mind, I think Hawes stepped up tonight. ready for Frank to return.
I was fine with Batum in the first half, except for a lazy turnover to Winslow. shots just weren't falling for any Hornets in the first half. felt the whole time like if they'd just hit one or two FG here or there, the game was anyone's to win.
I think those free throws Kemba had in the 2nd quarter were big to help the team push past the "here we go again" missed shot routine. got him on track a little bit too.
good stuff. hope Hibbert's not out too long. him + MKG is a dynamite combo, both on defense (obv) but also with their two man game give-and-go stuff.

Nice win! 2-0 to start the year , I like it. We may need to get Frank back to beat Boston. Go Hornets...

I can't believe what I'm about to say, but I'm dead serious. I think Sessions is going to lose his rotation spot to... Brian Roberts. Roberts can shoot and doesn't defend much worse.
That was a crazy game. Basically down 20 in the second half and we end up winning in oddly convincing fashion with Miami fans streaming out of their arena with two minutes left.

My old team, good to see hornets beat Miami this time. Need this revenge from the playoff despite wade is not there.

Had to record the game and only saw a tad of Q1 this AM so far. Any news on Hibbert? Looked like he got caught up in an early scrum at the basket then was limping till going out.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Re: GT: Hornets vs Miami 10/28 8PM EST
We looked great from the mid 3rd quarter onward. Both these first couple of games have been unusually intense, I guess because they were home openers for the Bucks/Heat, and it's a good sin to get Ws against two very motivated opponents even with injuries.
Hawes has been a baller so far this year. Stepped up when we needed him.
I hope Hibbert is okay, he looks like a perfect fit for Cliff's defense.
