Which Net will sputter on the away B2B? Let's hope no one.

I expect Brook to do work on the inside, our bench have to play better than theres. There bench sucks other than Monroe depending on if he starts or come off the bench. If the Nets can contain the Greek Freak and Parker then I can see them winning

The biggest factor is that Khris Middleton is injured. Good

Lin has a history of not playing well on the second game of back-to-backs and he did play 34 minutes tonight. Hopefully he's gotten stronger and he will have another exceptional game.

How is RHJ's knee?

He did a fabulous job on PG and we definitely need him against the Greek Freak.

Last season, Lin played against the Nets was a B2B game and Lin scored 21pts.

Check the record, CHA didn't lose any B2B games since March.
The Boston and Houston games are B2B and Lin killed it.

Milwaukee is a much tougher matchup then the paces and will be tougher to defend like boston was.... milwaukee moves the ball and ton, gets out in transition, and runs a ton of screens. we struggle with all those things. the pacers killed us the first 3 quarters of that game offensively, we tightened up but they also played alot of iso ball in the 4th with ellis and george going 1 on 1 alot.

throw in its a back t back and this will be really tough. forget the greek freak, they are a team offense and thats dangerous for us.

we need to continue scoring we have the first two games. hopefully shoot it from 3 closer to how we did in the boston game.

not feeling confident about this one.

The comeback in the Celtics game showed we had heart. The Pacers games demonstrated that the Nets have some hope. This game will show whether the Nets are just a 20-25 win team or a 30-35 win team.

The comparison has been made before... but this team is extremely similar to the celtics when brad stevens took over.

they cleaned house of all their veterans (pierce/KG/Allen/Rondo) and had a ton of bench type role guys and some young guys. stevens was a bright mind and got them all buying into the system and playing hard at a faced pace and with alot of threes.

Kenny has done the same here in a similar situation. nets moved on from Deron/Pierce/KG/Joe and now have a team of mostly role players and young guys. early returns from play and interviews is they all buy in to what kennys doing. #1 in pace in the preseason and top 6 so far through 2 games in the regular season.

now... tougher to turn this around as quickly as boston did as we dont have all the picks they had and we dont have the blue chippers they had. probably take 2 or 3 more seasons after this year to get where boston was in year 2. but the foundation is there.

Coach -> system -> pace -> players buying in. thats the founddation right now.

its up to marks from here to determine who long it takes to get to being respectable, but so far so good

The name of Milwaukee doesn't sound very intimidating. It will be a win.

Agreed. It will be a tough game. Actually any away game in the NBA is tough (unless you're Cleveland or Golden State).

This actually belongs in the Indiana game thread but I'm frankly shocked and amazed in the difference between how we played last night compared to the Celtics game. The coaching difference was huge and the team responded. If they continue their play like last night they could pull this one out.

it is not going to be easy for Nets to compete against any team... Bucks like to score in the paint, guards have to help inside d...

The coaching was sharp against Indiana. Bravo to Atkinson for adjusting. He made the right changes by game 2. Most coaches fumble around and dont get there till game 15 or 20 when its too late.

After the weird pre season & game 1, I could not figure out if there was a hidden agenda to tank for reasons the public could not fully understand.

Seeing how the coaching adjusted and Brook's postgame comments, its good to know it was just mostly growing pains.

Game 2 was how I expected this team to play in the preseason as a baseline to start. But at least its still early in the season.

Kris Middleton is a killer and thankfully he's hurt.

This will indeed be a tough game as the scrappy Hornets owned the Bucks at home and Kidd probably has lit a fire under his team for tonight.

i can see Delladova doing a full tackle on someone and hopefully not Lin.

I think the Bucks will be really tough. IMO Lin will have a hard time with their length and athleticism (Delly will also pressure him). I think his goal in this game is to get other guys involve. If he can't get more than 10 assist we loose. The key goal in this game is to completely stop Greek from taking over the game. He is too long and athletic for any of our guys we need to constantly deny him the ball. It's ok for him to run the transition since our transition D is awful. The best way to stop them from running is to hit our shots in order to reset their offense constantly. We need Brook to score and our guys to hit 3 effectively.

KA needs to run the PnR ALOT imo and grind it out. We can't outshoot them or else we loose since they take high percentage shot is their style.

This could be a game where Kenny uses Isaiah and CMC for the athleticism and fresh legs. I can't imagine Jeremy playing near 36 minutes in a back to back unless we're in a position to win the game.
