An old fashion iso big line up does not need a secondary playmaking guard. We need defense and simple shooters. The closest body we got is Harris.

What do you guys think about Booker? As far as i can see he's clearly best forward on the Nets roster and plays very spectacular although talent wise Trevor not a great starter at all.
Can he average about 28-30 minutes per game this season on this team?

i dont think bookers role will change. i think the minutes and usage moving forward will be about what it was the first 2 games. he is going to start because we need the defense in the starting unit. especially if bogs continues to start

Gotta say, with so many pieces to mix and match I think Atkinson has the right combo at the moment. Booker/RHJ in the starting lineup are critical for defense and athleticism. Skil is better suited to coming off the bench than Bogdonovic and Harris/Hamilton serve their purpose of being able to stretch the D and change momentum pretty quickly with the long ball. If Atkinson can keep everyone competing they can hang around of a lot of games with the 3 ball.

I think he can. He's the motor of the team. Keeping at it.

His talent is very suitable to the modern NBA with his quickness, guard skills, athleticism and physicality.

He just needs his shooting improved and he's a good starter.

It seems like Atkinson is going to stagger his minutes with the starters to provide energy and defense for the bench while Hamilton and Scola might play with the starters sometimes. His minutes kinda depends on how well Hamilton plays, and he had been playing very well.
