I'm ok with playing some vets, but almost no minutes for Bender and Ulis is pure non-sense.

seriously hate Phoenix so much because of how many bandwagoner fans there are. No other place I can think of that has more bandwagoners...

There you have it guys. Hornacek 2.0 :noway:

You gotta play your veterans first though. Knight's minutes will take a hit as the year goes on.

Especially in our situation. This way there will be no doubt that we're going nowhere with the older guys so the young ones can play without that pressure hanging over them. The last thing you want is them feeling like they're going to be yanked for every mistake. And that would likely happen if we were still playing Knight, Tucker and Dudley as if we were truly in the race for a postseason berth. But having said that, I'd still like to see them get a little more burn right now.

I'm not worried about our record. We need to build out this team through the draft and free agency.

Imo, this game is a double loss. Not only did the Suns get a loss, but the rookies got virtually no playing time and therefore got no development. Meanwhile, Knight gets to run around like he is in the gym by himself and do whatever he wants. Get rid of this guy. Every game he plays is one too many on the Suns. I would trade him to get Goodwin back.

Not mad about the last two losses. Warriors needed major help from the refs and Knight for this win.

Overall, I'm happy with this performance. I think Bender needs more playing time and Watson needs to make better rotations and lineups, but we're 3 games in to his tenure, so I'm not too worried.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Get rid of this guy? Wow. The rookies will get their time. Relax.

Certainly not to blame entirely but he still should have done many things better, or actually not done at all. Playing a 4 guard line up was one of those things he should not have done. He should have maybe given a few more opportunities to guys like Bender or Ulis, or not have kept Knight out there for so long in the 4th. But hey, he also did a few things right and he by no stretch cost us the game.

Basically it's 7 on 4 whenever Knight is in the game.

Chriss was terrible out there. He was nervous and lacked confidence. The season just started, he is not ready to play in games against the Warriors.

Well, we played very competitively against both Warriors and OKC. It's more than I expected, so I guess there's some progress. There are some individual cases like Booker playing below our expectations, strange disappearance of Len's skills and Knight's non-existant bball IQ. A good thing is the first two cases are salvageable :-)
We are not going to win many games this year but many are going to be really close. Soon we will be out of any realistic hopes on the playoffs and the rooks will be getting more and more playing time. I'm personally looking to see a Bled-Book-TJ-Bender-Chriss lineup.
It's going to be a year of development and definitely not wasted.

3 mins given to a 4th pick is inexcuseable. If he was not ready to contribute I'd somewhat understand, but Bender looked like one of the team's better defenders in limited minutes he received and his defensive versatility would've been of great use in this game imo.

I have bad news guys. I did the math, wrote it all down, double checked everything to make sure I was correct. We're on pace for a 0 win season. We are on pace to shatter the record to lolcats set a couple years ago. If you're not ready to root for ping pong balls you may want to leave now.

Unfortunately what we really need is a talented C, and this upcoming draft really doesnt have one.
