Braves need pitching.....?

Post#1 » by opzoneworld » Mon Jul 9, 2007 7:32 pm

According to the wire, the Braves are serriously looking for some pitching. No reason they should not come to our pitching factory here.

What could we ask for in return for either Morris or Sanchez?

Something else I read that was interesting. The Phils are the tops or amoung the tops in runs scored but last in the league in ERA. Does this mean they could spare a bat for pitching? Another good aveunue for the Giants to explore.

The Giants need to define Sanchez's role when he comes off the DL. Starter? Reliever? I could see a move in the offseason involving him if they can't. Morris might be easier dealt in the offseason because I think more teams would call for a pitcher with 1 year left on his deal. If they can get something good for him now, I'd take it.
