I don't even know what you're arguing. Demar is a very good scorer, when he is on fire he is liable to score 40, especially when the defence let's him get into a comfort zone.

His shots were impressive, so what? I also said wow a few times, but there's ways to prevent him from getting into that groove. It's just hard to do.

I guess we'll see where your team ranks defensively this season. I don't see you being top 15 in defensive rating.

In pointing out exactly what SVG said needs to improve you make a meaningful contribution to our board's discussion. History does not indicate that he goes off like that on the Pistons every time? We will take your assessment of the Pistons' ceiling under advisement. Here's another hypothesis for you to consider; our rotations are off kilter because our lead guard is down and quite a few new players are being integrated. Will you feel better if one of us says the Raps are currently the better team? They are.

I suppose we Piston fans struggle with the more arcane basketball knowledge. We're just simple fans. However, given our current elections, we've gotten pretty good at spotting megalomania and narcissistic personality disorder.

Ah after all this time i absolutely misunderstood what your saying which is:

Since your such a huge "stan" as you call it of Demars, you know that if we played good defense , he's not good enough of a player to score 40. He's limited if you can guard him right because he really doesn't have the ability to beat defenses if he can't find his spot.

I used to think Demar was a good player, i am just glad that Raps fan made it a point to make sure everyone knows he's very limited against good defenses, unlike all the other great players. Which brings up why you guys even signed him to a massive contract if he's so limited against good defenses.

His shots were impressive, so what? I also said wow a few times, but there's ways to prevent him from getting into that groove. It's just hard to do.

We understood you don't think he's that good. or as you said it
SO WHAT?

Well while that is YOUR OPINION, i prefer a actual data and facts to develop my opinion. Not just 1 game as statistically your data is misconstrued and pretty irrelvant in context. if you rely on that data, it could lead to one making rash comments and eating a sh* load of crow. Medium rare.

I'm not afraid to be wrong and I'm also not nearly as emotionally invested in this discussion as you.

It's early in the season and your team is young and athletic and has a great coach so there's certainly a chance I'm proven wrong. I just currently think that you have a few solid defenders but not enough ++ defensive guys and I'm not a big believer in your anchor.

Wasn't he 48/60 among players who contested more than 5 shots at the rim per game last year (something like allowing 53% of them)? I believe that's correct.

Ya , the time for civil discussion was before you threw out all those trolling statements and didn't shoot yourself in the foot with your team defense comments and contradicted yourself.

I'll just leave it at, BYE FELICIA !
