Good game by TJ, Chandler, Bledsoe and Dudley. With Booker playing like he usually does Suns would won it. If Booker plays so bad because he is injuried I hope he will sit next game and heal. Even if this means starting Knight, yuck!
Sadly I see no difference between Watson and Hornacek. I fear we really need to wait for blowouts if we want to see rookies play.
Although I guess Horny would put Warren on the bench to play Tucker 30 minutes. It could be worse.

I also agree: it is not possible to win a game when Knight plays so many minutes. He only thinks about shooting. Everytime he gest the ball he is already thinking about dribbling and going to a spot where he can manage a shot or a penetration. Only scarcely he thinks about passing the ball. He even does not the most typical thing for a PG, or for any player on the court: organize the playmates, looking firstly for a teammate that could have an advantage or a good position to score. Nothing. It is really desperating to see this guy screw our offense system everytime he gets the ball.
When Warren was hot and scored two straight shots, Knight did not pass him the ball for the next couple of attacks only to clunk some shots himself. I am sorry, that is something I cannot del with.

Seeing that from a more proffesional perspective, I should say that Watson is responsible for that. How can a coach send a player out there with no instructions at all? Or Knight's instructions are to shoot the ball all he can? He is killing team's chemistry and he is underdeveloping our rookies.

On the other hand, the team offered a good image yesterday. Many players played well. Warren has reached a very good level and his game is more versatile. CHandler and Len offered good rim protection a tons of rebounds. CHriss offered some good put backs. Bledsoe was serious on deffense and good on offense.

I do not agree on Dudley's level. IMO, he played bad. He is a team player, which has no discussion, but we lack athleticism when he is out there.

However, we are 0-3 and I cannot envision a win without Booker and with Knight playing 30 minutes.

Let's face it. Booker has been playing horribly. Is there a chance the hype on him over the summer was way out of hand? He has been very disappointing so far this year. He is everyone's darling but he really has to be as disappointing as Len so far. At least we half way expected Len to be bad.

Knight's AST%
With Bucks:
26.6 (72 games)
28.6 (52 games)
With Suns:
21.6 (11 games)
24.4 (52 games)

Yes it looks like he is passing less after joining the Suns.
I think he should play with Bledsoe or Ulis all the time. He should not be the main playmaker.

He has a toe injury which explains why so many of his shots are short.

Booker is too good to have a slump like this and not have a valid explanation for it.

If the toe is bothering him he should sit a week or two and get healthy. No reason to mess around and have this linger. Use his absence to get ulis some minutes.

He's probably saving us for seeing Knight playing 40min per game.

If Booker's toe is bothering him that much then we need to rest him and start Knight. Play Knight a lot and maybe someone dumb enough will take on his contract. Brooklyn has a ton of one year contracts that we could make something work there while possibly taking RHJ in the process.

I've insisted this was the case for quite awhile now. Not so much that the hype is unwarranted, just that it's far too early. He's an amazing young player quite probably destined to eventually become a great player but he can be taken out of his game by an aware defense. His stats were very mediocre last season but when you consider all the circumstances (playing out of position, with no talent around him), he clearly showed the potential to be special. But somehow that got twisted by the sports media and some fans into the idea that he'd actually had an incredible season, which just wasn't the case. Right now though, I'm convinced it's mostly just the ankle and the toe that's keeping him from delivering. There was a moment during the early stoppage last night where he was jumping up and down and running in place trying to stay warm and you could see him grimace on impact.

Booker is pressing because we put the weight of the franchise on him over the Summer. Plus he has to battle the usual Sophomore slump. It's been 3 games. The only conclusions we can make is we're not a great team (note that I didn't say "good") and Knight sucks balls. Anything else is wild speculation and we should all take a chill pill.

He also has had to go up against premier defenders in Dipo and Thompson. And the havoc Westbrook creates. He does have pressure though. I think he will get some confidence against lesser defensive 2s. If Redick guards him tonight, he should have an easier time, but if it's Paul it might be tougher. Paul will probably want to guard Bledsoe though.

Billy King is no longer the GM there.

I thought the last couple minutes of the first half was very critical. Had a chance to go into the locker room with double digits lead. Made a lot of mistakes.

It's always the same scenario. Our starting 5 kills the opponent, our bench let them come back.
