Add abrines and a second for one of your centers maybe?

I'd take him too. Wanted him in free agency.

Good wing defender, decent enough shooter, can attack on a closeout if needed, can slide down to the 4...yeah, he'd be perfect. But he's also perfect for Denver.

I think they might move on from the Jokic/Nurkic pairing at some point, since early returns on Jurkic haven't been promising. Too many good players and not enough minutes to go around. But any trade would likely have to be a 3-way.

Dudley was #1 on my list, but I don't see Phoenix giving him up this early and I don't see him being happy about being traded. I follow him on Twitter—the man LOVES Phoenix.

yeah I don't think Nurkic/Jokic works as an on-court pairing well enough either. And assuming they value Jokic more, then I'd love to see them deal Nurkic rather than make him a lower minute backup. Feels like a waste of value.

Which makes me really want to re-visit my old Nurkic/Gallo to the Celtics idea with Jaylen Brown being part of the value going to the Nuggets because a young SF is something they lack and he would appear to be a good complement to Harris/Murray on the wing. And if a SF of the future comes in and Gallo goes out, then Chandler would be expendable for a team definitely playing for next year. Would Denver take a Ilyasova plus incentive deal for Chandler in a scenario like this? To go into next season with all those talented kids/picks and gobs of cap space? Try and package some of it for a star and then lure a guy or two to come there?

Meh too convoluted, but I've certainly played around with those ideas a few times.

He's not real good, but he's cheap.

Casspi

Can give you minutes at the 3 or 4.

And let me repeat cheap.

He may be out of the rotation this season, too early to tell for sure, but he signed a cheapy and would probably have to privately be open to being moved.

Yeah I mentioned him earlier itt. Surprised he's getting so little run. Would love to get him to Dallas, but we have nothing likely to interest the Kings.

Would you take Morrow and OKC's best 2nd for Casspi?

He's been talked about for years now. I don't know. He's only played more than 70 games 3x in his career. Can't shoot from 3...

Aminu's a little better shooter. We have a Harkless already—his name is Andre Roberson.

I love Farouq, but getting him thinking he is any answer to shooting woes would be foolish. He's continue to improve and that's to his credit, but what makes him interesting as a player is his ability to provide rim protection and rebounding from the 3.

On the other hand, we're playing Singler who can't shoot or do anything else, so it's still an upgrade. And if aminu matches last years percentage and volume he'd (sadly) be our best shooter with the starters.

Gallinari would be preference from Denver, but there's just nothing on our roster.

Only if Casspi privately wanted out as a favor to him.

It's possible too, Vlade has paid it forward with Ray McCallum for instance trying to set him up in a decent place.

But no, not if Casspi was happy.

Given our luck with role-players, I'm pretty sure he would be trash once he started playing for us (again).

Knight and Tucker for Kanter and Payne

Is it too soon for Milwaukee to have realized Tony Snell isn't good at basketball and trade him for Morrow and a couple 2nds? He's better than Singler. Or Beasley for a 2nd?

Gerald Green could be too though.. And Ainge could spare a low level pick for Joff.

Swaggy for Singler! Dekker for Joffrey and a 2nd?

I was going to post Singler/Payne for Bayless/Covington cause Bayless would be a (really) good third guard behind Dipo/Russ. Feel OKC should add a 2nd or whatever. But say Moneytalks posted it. So I'll just post it again anyways cause it seems like a good fit.

Really I think the teams should just agree on Morrow and a couple 2nds for Hollis though.

Matthews will probably never be the guy he was before his injury. Given that his contract goes for another two years and his shot hasn't really discovered, I don't think that's what Presti'd be looking for.

I'm typically the last person to defend Wes. I have grown more impatient with his recovery than most Mavs fans..

But being reasonable, he offers great defense and shot 36% from the three (on 6.7 attempts per game) last season. His shot isn't broken. The rest of his game is the problem, but the rest of his game doesn't matter much if you put him with 1-2 of Russ/Dipo. He would be asked to play defense and take threes.

Can we pull a third team in on this? Trying to figure out who. Knight is useful, but we're set at 2-guard. We need more competent swings, and I don't think Tucker will get the job done any more.

Mhh. Intriguing. I don't know if I like Knight if I'm being honest. Everytime I see him play, he seems to be such a boneheaded player. He had one decent run with Milwaukee for 50 games and hasn't really been all that great since that 50 game-run.
