Post#1 » by brewcityboii » Mon Jul 9, 2007 9:40 pm

Just wondering how you would rate the individual performances for the players at the break. You can rate the players on a 1-10 scale with 10 being the highest

Prince-Amazing (9)
Weeks-Please learn how to hit (3)
Hardy-The biggest suprise IMO (7)
Braun-Im in awe (11)
Estrada-would like him alot more if he could learn to take a pitch (6)
Hart- improving every day. (8)
Hall-needs to be more consistent (6.5)
Jenkins-Been great for the young guys (7)
Mench- (5)
Counsell- (5)
Graffanino- (5)
Gwynn- (3)
Gross-(2.2)

Sheets-Stay healthy and this guy is a cy young canidate (10)
Capuano- He has to turn it around...doesn't he. (5)
Vargas- Not the best stuff but the crew seems to win when he starts (6)
Bush- Starting to really come around (6.5)
Suppan-god why did we pay him 40 mill (4)
Gallardo- Can't wait till he gets back in the rotation (7.5)
Villanueva-Been our best relief pitcher (8)
Shouse- just cause he's a lefty (5)
Spurling- he sucks (1)
Wise-if he can get to full strength I will be much more comfortable (6)
Turnbow-beside 4 games he has been unhittable (8.5)
Cordero-Best in the business (9.5)

Yost-www.firenedyost.com (3.1)

He would have to play almost every game for the rest of the year and average over 4 AB's a game I believe.

And we know Ned loves to give guys days off so he can plug in inferior players so my guess is no he won't qualify.

The only one I would take issue with is Gabe Gross. I think the 2.2 is a bit generous for Ned's son-in-law.

braun needs 3.1 ab's per team game, something like 502 ab's. he's projected to get 508 i believe
