Better hope the next draft pick is a alpha because KP doesnt look like one.

They don't want team ball they want KP ball. I don't know how you feature him though. He doesn't have a post game and he's not shooting it well from deep

The team that pooped the bed in the playoffs?

Because Melo got his shoulder pulled out of its socket. Better to miss the playoffs every year.

KP has more drive than most players. Temporary struggles and not knowing how to handle being asked to cover three point shooters doesn't make him soft which is a bogus thought process.

When has Rose been a loser he's missed the playoffs once his whole career?

Melo didn't miss until he came here....

I wouldn't label him a loser either, but I've definitely never heard it associated with Rose.

If the Chicago Cubs can come back from having a 1-3 record in the World Series, the Knicks can do the same!

Knicks will be 4-3 by next week! Might be 4-10 in a couple week after that though.

The boy is soft, even you should see that.

You talk about no patience from the fans.. Yet you're part of the problem if you're already giving up on the best prospect we've drafted since Ewing. Be patient

Blame?

What I just posted is a clear-eyed statement of what Melo's priorities are and why he will not consent to any trade unless he is willing to be Lebron's wing man.

Melo punches the clock. He shows up to work. He has his moves. But he lacks any overpowering desire to be a champion and nothing is going to change that.

Melo's priority was to spend the majority of his career in New York City. Winning a ring takes a backseat to that. Melo is a lifestyle player. He wants whatever adulation he can get, but not at the cost of giving up his NYC lifestyle. He always cared more about money and location than winning rings and you darn well know it.

I really wasn't referencing just YOU but you're really off base with what you feel he wants out of his career. I don't pretend I know what goes on in these guys heads and neither should any of you. But whatever I'm not here to change minds. Everything you just said is an opinion because you don't like him as a person or a player and thats your right.

He has the ability to help a team if he is in the right situation. At this point, being Lebron's wing man is really the only successful choice he has left to him. Otherwise, he will fade into obscurity as a Knick because he simply is not that good of a player at this point.

This franchise did a piss poor job of maximizing his talent from the moment he got here. I'm not even mad at him or any of the players. We have started and finished a plan out. Its bigger than Melo, than Porzingis, than STAT, Lin, Rose, Felton, Gallo, Curry, all of them. We've been bad since 2000 not 2013.

KP is young and figuring things out but he's also not trying to be disruptive. He's had a couple productive games too, out of 4. Even Cleveland wasn't bad.

This whole narrative is lame. KP will be more than aggressive enough. It took them a few years to get Paul George to try to be the main option. Feeling it out and letting it come to you is no sin.

it's because he's afraid of contact due to all the injuries that he's had so he's always contorting at the rim

This board is a hoot. It's funny seeing some of the melo fans and kp fans taking jabs at each other. Why fight anyways. It's all lebron and cleveland for the next 4 years, hopefully only 4 more years.

Deflect? Nah. Melo trash too. Get rid of the worst players my dude. WTF did KP shoot tonight? Toxic sh*t being a puss on the court scared of shooting. It's pissing me off just like it did last year. Dude got worse with it.
