The Celtics will work out their rebounding issues when they get more opportunities to play together. This team does not have any great individual rebounder, but it will do fine once everybody understands where they need to rotate and where they should be boxing out. Our players are too smart and too athletic to not be able to work this out.

Sully even RT'd his +/- prior to last night's game lol.

I had a real problem with this tweet by Sullinger. Just a crappy thing to do. Dude is jealous that Turner got paid in the off season and he got put in the bottom of the barrel, real petty bullsh*t. Hard to understand to since they are both Buckeyes. Sullinger couldn't even get in shape enough to put up a +/- this season and probably will be out of the league in a year or so. F*ck Sullinger.

Hm...wonder if they had beef.

I doubt it. Those two are bros. Probably just Sully being bored and messing with ET.

Wait. Is that Sully's real twitter? Location: "a gym near you".

I very much miss ET for his hilarious quotes, not so much for his basketball contributions (thus far). Once we're healthy Smart, Rozier, Olynyk and eventually Jaylen should give us enough playmaking off the bench.

I wouldn't find that funny in the slightest if I was ET, and I doubt Sully's twitter followers cared either way.

I'm going to take this as another moment to point out that being teammates does not mean you are friends. Durant/Westbrook is a great example of that. It's just like our day to day lives: occasionally we do make a friend at work that is a friend for life, but it's few and far between and usually you never see those people again after moving jobs despite having gone out to bars and having hung out a bunch in general.

Lighten up. Pretty sure you're more offended than Turner is. Sully's ribbing on ET. Those two are tight. Haven't heard anything recently that changed that. They're secure enough about themselves and their friendship that they can joke about each other even on social media.

Where'd you get the thing about Sully being jealous of Turner? I missed this if it's out there.

If that's real from Sully about Turner than it's really pathetic. If he tried to say that's ribbing I'd say he's being passive aggressive. Loser thing to do.

I don't think he's being malicious fwiw. I just think Sully is a pretty unintelligent person who wasn't thinking when he made this tweet. Probably did it subconsciously because of the jealously Writebloc mentioned. I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't being a straight dick.

Sully probably had beef....along with chicken, pork, shrimp, fish and whatever else was on the menu that day.

lol it looks like I read it wrong.

EDIT: Sorry for derailing the thread. Anyway, I think we're better off without ET this season (it will take a few weeks for our bench to put it together) and long-term.

Yup. Figured this was just Sully's lack of a brain showing rather than something truly malicious.

Also, lmao "140 characters don't sum me up".

No Sully, they don't, you would need a lot more characters to sum you up.

Evan Turner's so overrated. I'm glad we didn't resign him, personally.

This post sums up everything there.

It wasn't a bad GM move to not pay ET all dat cash. He was great for THIS team last year, and would have been good for us this year too as our goto scorer once again and our playmaker for the second unit.

But yeah, ET would be nice to have. But he cost wayyyy too much and we may organically replace him all together if we can figure out that IT/Horford should be our end of game goto play, Rozier finds his form and replaces his off the bench scoring, and a combination of Rozier/Bradley/Smart replace his bench playmaking (basically need Rozier to really step it up here too).

He's a 28 year old role player. Happy for him, but what is this thread even about?

Anyone who would have paid him that money is tripping.

I tend to read into things as an English teacher, subtext and all of that, but if he was joking around with ET, than I'd have retweeted ET along with the original tweet, even maybe an emoji or something. The way the tweet came off he just put Turner on blast, if they're boys, I know I wouldn't remain too close to him for long.
