But he's clearly struggling in every aspect of the game, including something as simple as free throws

He's 21, in his second year. Go look up Melo's first 4 games in his second year. Trust me, they are worse than KP.

Take away his 7/11 game vs Memphis and he's shooting like 33% from the field or something like that

He's been the biggest disappoint this year to me.

Whoever started that I rather see Porzingis play good and the team lose thread and everyone who agreed with him looks really dumb right now. That's what they get for putting a player over the team.

You can throw those numbers in the trash because they mean nothing. KP is the main culprit for playing terrible defense and it's throwing everybody off. Defense needs to be played as a unit and all it takes is one guy not knowing what he's doing for it to fall apart. That one guy who is causing it all to fall apart is Kristaps Porzingis.

He isn't the main culprit. The defense was terrible in the 4th against the Pistons while he was on the bench. He is just one of the culprit.

It was actually the opposite, the defense was on point in the 4th and the Pistons were held to only 16 points in the entire quarter, and that was because Porzingis was on the bench. The problem in the 4th was they couldn't score a basket on the offensive side, but defensively they shut down the Pistons. Porzingis was on the bench the entire quarter until only 3 minutes in the game. Proves my point

The sad part is that the Knicks were actually within 3-5 points the entire time Porzingis was on the bench, but when he came back in the Pistons went on a run and the lead ballooned up to 10, after KCP hit a 3 pointer. Do you want to guess who he hit that shot on after being left wide open? If you guessed Porzingis then you would be correct.

Then why did the Knicks struggle defensively against the Rockets when Porzingis was sitting?

Now he's 21 keeps getting brought up.

I'm not interested in excuses. He's struggling right now and that's all we are discussing. There is nothing else to talk about other than what he provides us with to talk about.

Both and the 2 guys they bashed the most(Rose and Melo) are at least playing well by the rest of the teams standards.

They got KP playing like a bum and the Knicks can't win. That's what they get.

You blame that play on Noah?

Look at where Noah was on that play and look at where Porzingis was, that is 100% the responsibility of Porzingis to pick up Harden and protect the basket.

nope i'm justing saying that rolo is a better defensive center than noah and would mask kristaps' weakness.

noah is just there taking up space.

It sounds like you are just talking out your rear end as usual

Rolo does not even play major minutes. He starts both halves. Taj and Felicio play the important minutes.Robin playing 20 minutes.

Melo is ass the biggest problem. Ithe is like watching old Barkley. Melo is slow and bad.

Placing his performance in the proper context is not an excuse; it's being smart.

Because his 1st quarter defense demoralized the entire team from the moment the ball was tipped. Go look at the 1st quarter, he killed the entire spirit of the team, whatever they had going in after he killed their spirit the night before in Detroit.

Ignore me I don't care. You can't handle what we're saying.

We can have both. We can have a good season and the kid can grow as a player but that thread stated he rather see KP play good than the Knicks win. And for that hyoid deserve neither.

But yeah put me on ignore because I don't agree with you about KP. That says more about you than me.
