It's the one game we won as well. We're 0-3 without that game.
It's called an outlier. It makes his overall numbers look better than what they truly are. And also it proves our point that if he played better like he did vs Memphis we just might have won one of those other 3 games. If he was playing good none of us would be saying a thing.

Yup and then of course there was the dunk by Harden right after that
The dude was responsible for giving up 8 points in less than 3 minutes
My thing you seen what Anderson did to you in Houston how do you allow it again smh
And they do scouting before games. I'm pretty sure that the message was delivered to KP that Ryan Anderson likes to shoot 3's but there he was left wide open from the opening possession. I don't care if he is 21 years old, teenagers know better than that. It's just so frustrating to watch.
But you know what, Hornacek deserves blame too. Do you know what Popovich would have done in that situation, he would have called a timeout right there and got in his face and chewed him out. Probably would have benched him too. So what if the game just started, we just spent hours of work going over this and you go out there on the first play of the game and do the exact thing we said NOT to do. Sit your ass down on that bench.

Knicks winning games is an outlier. We finally agree.
So who do you want, Fultz, Jackson, or Smith? I'm hoping we get Josh Jackson.

Dude I don't care about numberswatch the games. Rose is getting to the rim and providing some early scoring oops for the team. That's really all we ask of him. As we figure out the offense I think his assist numbers will rise.
KP is playing soft. I don't care about 14 and 6, he's playing like he has no interest in dominating a game. He didn't do anything to me, he's just playing like crap and I'm gonna call him out on it.
Dudes see numbers. There is no stat for playing soft, If there was, he would be one of the league leaders at the moment. Dude was holding his Knees damn near the whole game. He could not wait for a break in the action. I would literally watch the dude in the corner and he would just stand there. stand there. stand there.
They won't say anything about it tho. Now he's a 2nd year player who's still growing which is what we were saying before they anointed him the best player in the world after one preseason game.

I like Tatum from Duke. Jackson is good too. The PGs don't really impress me.

Any talk of an outlier in a 4 game dataset is ridiculous. And if there were any, last night was more of an outlier than the best game he had. Chances are, at this stage of development he's a 17-18 ppg player with decent efficiency, good rim protection, and trouble defending in space.

Mike Woodson - Phil picked DEREK FISHER over him due to fisher knowing the triangle which is still not working for us
Hardaway - Could careless about him he caused us not getting the 1st or 2nd round pick
Jeremy Lin - signed an offer sheet thinking we were going to Match. It was because of melo he got playing time when melo was out due to a an ankle injury he told Woodson to play him.

Like I stated before basketball 101 there are two problems with that play. First the aggressive pressure by Melo allowing the blow by. Fault goes there. Then either Noah or KP have to rotate that is team basketball. I have never seen 2 seven footers standing on the opposite block watching an offensive player take a couple dribbles and a couple steps and not rotate over. I am not pointing blame at KP or Noah on that play but AT BOTH OF THEM one of them has to rotate over that is called team basketball. Neither did it so both are to blame and just as at fault as Melo on that play. Defense is more reliant on team defense than individual defense. All three players did a terrible job on that play. ALL THREE PLAYERS.

Yup he looks sluggish, weak and he's playing soft. My worst nightmare honestly. The kid needs to get it together. Oddly enough his fans can only blame Melo. KP needs to look in the mirror and get his **** together.

It's a small sample size for sure but if his shooting gets quoted as a piece of evidence that's he's playing well then I say otherwise.
You have 4 occurrences. 3 result in poor results and the other results in extremely good results. That 4th result will skewe the overall data and manipulate it to counter the 3 poor results. That's why I'm saying he's not be playing well outside the one game vs Memphis he shot the ball very well. Which one is more likely to explain the trend. The 3 poor results or 1 good one.

He better get it together quick because you know what, if this thing doesn't work out and we end up blowing this bish up and KP is given the keys to the franchise, he will be left alone and guess who the spotlight will be on then? Porzingis! And oh boy is he going to feel the pressure then. Right now he has Melo and to some degree Rose to take away the pressure but can you imagine him going through these struggles without those guys around?
He should be grateful that Melo is still around to deflect the criticism away from him because boy I tell you the kid would be hearing a lot of talk of "BUST" right about now if he was the face of the franchise.
