We can win this game even without Lin.

This will be a tough game. lots of shooters for charlotte and mobile guys in the front court. going to be tough to stay in front of their gaurds and stop their pick and roll.

Batum always destroys us as well

Can't see us winning this game even with Lin , I think we get blow out by 20. They have some good athletes and we can't match up with their starting lineup. Let's see what Whitehead got

Yeah but who cares if we lose because it's all about development.

May have a slight advantage on the bench. We have advantage at center. Batum has struggled some, although he found it in the last game. If Batum has an off-game, and Kemba doesn't go completely nuts and score over 40, there may be a chance.

This is going to be a loss without Lin. Charlotte plays good defense under Cliff. It is a good chance though for RHJ to learn from MKG who many say he should emulate. Learn how MKG go get rebounds for example.

I think we would lose even with Lin. Hornets starting unit is very good. Onward to the next game.

This game is winnable, although I believe it'll depend on how much minutes Kenny lets Lopez play and is he willing to curtail Whitehead's minutes once he starts turning the ball over in bunches.....The last game against Detroit, I felt he let Whitehead in for too long and Kenny was also too slow in bringing back Lopez when Detroit was making their come-back run.

Charlotte is still too heavily dependent on Walker's scoring and Batum has been average so far.. MKG can't shoot or score, but he's a beast on defense...

I'd let Bojan guard MKG and have Booker guard Batum to keep him under control..Let RHJ guard Marvin and tell him to run him off the 3Point arc.

The Key is to hold Walker under 25 and keep Batum at around 15-14 points..They have no one else that can score...Their bench is not as good as it was last year...Brooklyn bench is actually better, specially if Foye can replace Whitehead minutes which would keep Kilpatrick on the bench so he could do his damage there.

Too bad Lin is hurt...With Lin, I would had been confident of a win..I still believe it's possible depending on how Kenny manage the game and is he really to let Lopez play above 30 minutes.

They have a lot of other guys that can hurt you. Marvin Williams can knock down 3s, Frank Kaminsky can put up 15-20 from the bench, Belli can score on some nights. Sessions hasn't been so good, but who knows, he may have a breakout game. Zeller at times can put the ball in the hoop from feeds from Batum. MKG in some games even can put up 15-22 or so points. He's been cold, so actually due for a strong offensive game.

Lin would have made this game very competitive. It can go either way with him, tough without him but not impossible.

Lin doesn't necessarily need to play if the Nets follow Lin's gameplan on how to defeat the Hornets.

Lin's bench routinely beat the starting unit in practices per Dell Curry. Lin will provide teammates the path to defend and exploit Charlotte - whether they can execute is the question. Lin has a habit of out-thinking opponents he faces frequently - ask Spoelstra (and Kemba).

I think we have a chance in this one because for one we have home court advantage which is always a big plus. Our offense should be good although it is worrisome not to have Lin. Still unless we're ice cold like against the Bulls the offense should be ok. On defense nobody stops Kemba but Kemba. We just have to hope his shot is off and he plays a lot of hero ball. If RHJ can contain Batum to some degree it'll be a big confidence booster for him and would go a long way towards a win.
It's a crap shoot however because other players such as Marvin, Kaminsky and even MKG could get hot and we could be stone cold. It'll be interesting though and I'll be watching and cheering for a win.

Can't watch the game because my job needs me to go to Boston tomorrow early in the morning. Of all places... Boston? F Boston lol

Anyway, i think this game will be a real challenge for our shooting. With mkg and batum guarding the perimeter, well need another big game from Lopez and even then it'll be a tough game to win.

Batum will kill Booker, he can't chase after Batum and run around or through screens, thats RHJ's job. Batum is very good at catch and shooting and running around screens Richard Hamilton style, we need someone that can keep up with him and I think RHJ is much better for that than Booker. RHJ on Batum, Bogs on MKG and Booker on M Williams but we can also switch on pick and rolls at times because those players can match up. The main problem is that Bogs doesn't box out well and MKG is a great rebounder and he is full of energy so Bogs have to stay on his toes. They have a lot of guys that can get hot and drop 20... Sessions, Batum, Kaminsky, Zeller, Belli and even Hawes can drop some buckets.

I really wish Lin was healthy. This game would be so much more fun. We were pretty convinced on the Hornets board that Lin was going to go for like 40/15/10 against us and the Linsanity mob would shut down site down.
