Get Reggie back, tighten up the defensive consistency, and get some consistent rotational chemistry and we'll be a playoff challenge for all but a few teams. Just keep building.

Problem is, Reggie hurts the defensive consistency quite a bit. I know it won't happen but I would like to see Reggie as the 3rd guard, solves the back up SG issue and he would still play most of the 4th quarter minutes.

That doesn't work because Ish is a crappy defender, too. It's not just that he's small... he doesn't play consistent solid defense on his man, either. Reggie at least is bigger and longer, but yeah, he's been a garbage defender for us most of the time. He did show better effort in the playoffs, however.

When we've played better defense this year (some of the time), it's mostly been Andre doing a better job clogging the lane. Against Brooklyn, he sucked ass, sulked, and we got lit up. Baynes did a better job in the 4th, but the offense went cold and we lost.

My suggestion was geared towards offense, guess I should have made that more clear. But yes, Ish is also a terrible defender and Drummond couldn't defend the paint when his man was raining triples like Lopez was.

The Bright Side of the Drummond

Ideally RJ is a 6th man

KCP is a 6th man

SJ is a 6th man

Mook is a 6th man

What a gun bench we would have!

On the brightside at least we have a squad full of dudes that could have a role on a legit contender

Could have said the same thing about Chauncy, Rip, etc. Worked out alright.

We just need a legit shooter or two.

Drummond had three blocked shots, bringing his career total to 500.

"Not enough," he joked. "It's definitely a good milestone, and thanks to my teammates for letting their man get by them."

It's interesting peoples' perceptions. I've been pleasantly surprised by Ish's defensive effort. I'm not saying he's a great defender, but he tries hard and generally gets back well. He's intercepted a number of outlet passes and broken up fast breaks with quick handed steals. He's willing to go down low and look for the poke away or steal, and give the good foul in the right situations.

The team did get lit up in NJ, but Andre was hardly the only one who applied vacuum to the derriere.

I thought that was pretty funny too. I'm sure he took some from his teammates after the NJ game and he was just giving a little back. It's my impression that players do a better job of keeping perspective than fans.

Maybe Stan should look to make some trades and move Drummond and Harris for some draft picks? Of course your getting some other players in return, but mostly for the picks.

That way the team could continue to get better in the long run. and not get stuck as what they are right now with almost no upward mobility in sight.

Um, Zeeb, I'm going with you forgot to do the green font? Drummond and Harris for draft picks is like:
