Dream about acquiring Nurkic?

Nurkic is a fine player, I'd love to have him, but we dream about Durant and Davis. Not Nurkic.

And there's the truth of it, but don't we all......

I'm not sure Golden State can beat Denver in the 2017 Western Confernence Finals. Denver's so loaded.

Have you dreamed about when Murray will hit his first shot?

Celtics should look into Bobby Portis. Not getting any run in Chicago.

I'm thinking James Young and LA Clippers 1st rounder in 2019

AD had 11 FGA tonight in an overtime loss and one touch in overtime.... Ridiculous.

Lou Williams? Nice player, can score some points on the second unit?

And Jaylen Brown looks like the real deal....We already have Crowder locked into such a great contract that we might as well keep him too even if that means he eventually goes to a bench role ala Andre Iggy.

Where this team needs to improve is bringing in a star big man. If somehow, someway we could land Blake Griffin in free agency and then draft another stud player to add into the mix, then I think we're going to be very good for a very long time.

IT-AB-Brown-Griffin-Horford
Rozier-Smart-Crowder-Giles?-Olynyk

I'm ready to have AB be a Celtic lifer. Brown is a keeper. I'd trade Smart or Rozier first.

And we do need a big or two, but I don't think we're getting Blake.

Which is why I'd try to go over the cap for decent bigs like Enes Kanter. Can be the Wally Z we trade for Ray... Enes/BKN 17 for Cousins...

I think we could end up with more flexibility dealing our expirings, re-upping Olynyk, maybe trading for another RFA-to-be like Mclemore or Noel.

Sky walker, I've defended you before, I think the Nuggets have a nice collection of young talent, like Orlando last year. And they're very raw, but have a lot of upside. That said, you've got to be realistic- not all thes guys are going to pan out, first of all. We traded Gerald Green and Sebastian Telfair in a package for Al Jefferson...

And Denver's MO the last few years has been to hoard good prospects, and trade some... But for a team with enviable depth (Gallo, Chandler, Barton??), you aren't winning much.

No to Lou Williams. Davis is being wasted, it's an actual f*cking NBA tragedy. He should be somewhere like Boston or San Antonio, being developed the right way, not asked to do too much, not getting no help, not getting no guidance to help shape him as a player.

Btw, look at Okafor's stats so far this year, .400 shooting, 9 points, 4 rebounds in about 18 minutes. Bad PER. I'd definitely bring him on board for the right price- but it's very clear that he, Noel and Embiid all have to play center. His trade value's probably gone down.

Noel, Nurkic, Len, Holmes, Lauvergne. Any of these would be a big help for us with rebounding and would be ideal for us to still keep our cap space to pursue a max FA this summer. For a package of non-core players + non-BKN picks (a package around Rozier + Mickey + MEM + LAC or even maybe our next year's pick). I think we have to get one of these young players.

No to Okaford. Bad rebounder for a center, no need for a player like that unless he would be tragically cheap.

In addition to that Zeller+2nd for Bogut would be a great rental for us. Then replace him with Zizic for the next year.

This year go to playoffs with:
IT/Smart/Jackson, Bradley/Green/Young, Crowder/Brown/Jerebko, Horford/Olynyk/Mickey, Bogut/Noel/Amir
(ideally find some SG help)

And then sign Griffin or Hayward, draft a top PG/SG prospect, re-sign Olynyk, Noel, bring here Zizic and Yabusele
IT/pick/Jackson, Bradley/Smart/FA, Crowder/Brown/FA, Griffin/Olynyk/Yabusele, Horford/Noel/Zizic or
IT/pick/Jackson, Bradley/Smart/FA, Hayward/Brown/FA, Horford/Crowder/Yabusele, Noel/Olynyk/Zizic
And still have 2018 BKN pick. :)

They are completely speculative and I've never seen anything they've proposed come true.

I don't care if it is a dodgy internet website that is completely made up, I am just going to go ahead and assume it will be happening. Sign me up for a Davis trade 24-7-365.

Willie Cauley-Stein has picked up 2 DNP-CD's in his first 7 games and clearly seems to be buried under a new coach. What would it take to grab him? He won't solve our rebounding issues, but at least he can slide his feet defensively.

I can't see the Kings trading him without getting overpaid.

I think firstly it's just too early to bail on him because of his raw defensive talents, kind of like Smart who came out the year before him, where you just have to hope he can manage to put together a more rounded game so he reaches his potential. They've just spent a #6 pick on him a year ago, so it's likely one of those scenarios where he's worth more to them than to anyone else.

Secondly I think he's insurance in case there is a DMC trade. Not that I think there is one that is imminent, but it comes up every year and I think it's always a somewhat realistic policy. If they dump DMC, it'll be for a rebuild package, and Willie fits into that timeline and the vaccuum that Cousins would leave in the front-court.

I think you'd be looking at something like multiple firsts plus Rozier, which I just can't imagine Danny doing given WCS' shortcomings. If he started causing problems and they put him on the block for less, I'd be all over it though.

Hoping for a Chicago implosion and then a Jaylen-based package for Jimmy Butler, followed up by a trade for Bogut.

All the signs show that Kings will eventually trade Cousins and probably he will end up in Boston.
I think the time has come for both teams.

This just isn't true in any way.

Unless "All the signs" means some desperate posters on the realgm Celtics board.

Danny Ainge doesn't give a **** about those people. We aren't acquiring Cousins and the Kings aren't trading him right now regardless.
