Victorino does have a good arm. So does Melky Cabrera.....theres my homer comment of the day, you can agree with it if you want, or disagree because he's a Yankee....I don't care.

I think Victorino had the best throw all year. He threw a strike to home without it touching the ground. Can't remember what game, but it was the only throw this year that made me say "Wow."

I think it was a game against the Mets or Braves.

I think Victorino has the best arm in baseball at the moment, followed by Vladdy and Ichiro.

As for underrated, I'll go with Pat Burrell. I know he doesn't start much anymore, but he can throw.

Baseball tonight had a highlight reel of Vlad's best throws throughout his career... NASTY!!!! JUST NASTY!!!

I still remember some other vid where they showed him during warmups at Yankee Stadium and he was throwing the ball all over the place.

Kruk took Vlad as his best outfield arm today, Steve Phillips took Jose Guillen and Ravaech took Jeff Francoeur...

Ichiro has an absolute FILTHY arm, but he doesn't get many chances to throw runners out. He was moved to center field, and rarely, when given the opportunity, do runners really take a chance and try to advance. 'Tis a shame, because, I still remember his rookie season @ Oakland when he threw a laser beam to third base from RF that never got more than 5 feet off the ground.

A serious "WOW" moment.

I witnessed one of those "WOW" moments in Seattle last summer. I went to a Mariners game and sat in RF and in the top of the 10th with a runner on 3rd and no outs a ball is hit to him in right. And it wasn't shallow right either as it was a pretty decent fly ball. He catches it and then unleashes a one hop strike to the plate, slightly up the 3rd base line and gets the runner by a step. I and everyone else in the crowd went crazy. It really is a shame that he hardly ever gets a chance to throw runners out anymore.
