Lawson 10 assists but 0-5. Why do you think he's completely failed to score the ball for you guys so far?

His shooting was never his strong suit but it's weird to see that he is almost a non-factor in scoring the ball. I don't really know what's really up with him.

Jordan Farmar is a more threatening player than Lawson when it comes to scoring the ball so far.

I just tuned in to the end of it, so it's hard to say, but he seems pretty passive with the ball in his hands. A lack of aggression maybe?

Good win for you guys, though. Gay and Cousins had some help on the offensive end, and that burden should be eased further once Collison's back.

Yeah, he seems timid with his shot selection. I mean, he is still quick as hell and can get the basket at a solid clip but his (scoring) mentality isn't there..yet. I think his confidence in scoring the ball takes a fall when his jumper isn't connecting.

This team is like my Bears and Jay Cutler... You sit there and wait on them to show you some life, and just when you're ready to give up all hope they have a game like this restoring our optimism; just like Cutler beat Minnesota on Monday night.

OK, we saw some decent adjustments in this one from Joerger. It started off much the same with the typical wide open 3's but near the end of the 1st quarter there were some changes. The bigs started to step out more and they challenged players off screens much better. We even got to see the Kings double off of some pick and rolls. There were still more open 3's and overhelping in the paint than I'd like to have seen but positive signs nonetheless. I also liked the shortened rotation.

Joerger was able to do things differently this game thanks to Jordan Farmar. Farmar saved Temple from having to play PG minutes, which is good. Temple could then take Ben's SG minutes, which is an upgrade. Joerger also benched Willie, which was huge. I also think he played Cousins and Koufos less minutes together, so we had more Omri, Matt Barnes, and Rudy at PF, which I think works better. I hope Joerger sticks to these adjustments.

When Collison comes back, I think we can benefit not just from his offense, but from Ty Lawson going to the bench where he'll be playing less with Cousins and more with Koufos. Maybe he could get his offense going that way. It could be fun to watch.

One thing that's definitely going on is that he's afraid to shoot jump shots. He has been a good defender though.

A possible contributing factor is that our offense is totally out of sync, meaning he'll drive right into Cousins and Cousins' defender, so he can't get a shot up.

Mildly shocked that not a single Raptor's fan posted on this thread.

I was thinking the same thing. Realistically, he's only 1 year away now.
