Pistons (4-2) @ Clippers (5-1)

Should be a tough game, DJ vs Drummond is usually good stuff but JJ Reddik is usually the one to toast us with the 3 ball so hopefully KCP can keep him in check. I predict we lose this one 105 to 95.

Perennial playoff loser VS Up and coming powerhouse.

This is the last year we will all see the Clippers in their current form, mark my words. Both games last year could have been won by the Pistons but the Clippers being them slimy ass selves fouled Andre into oblivion and even started the crazy ass foul on free throw trend that the league just banned.

This will really test Andre's new free throw shooting, and if he continues his improvement it will be a close game. Without Reggie though, it's going to be tough.

By the wat, Andre is sitting at .485% from the line so far, a huge improvement from all his previous years. If he can keep it just at this rate, Stan won't have to ever pull him off the floor.

Btw, he went 7-11 from the line against Denver good for .636% That would be unreal if he was a low 60% free throw shooter.

Getting closer to the dream people. A 50% free throw shooting Andre is almost unstoppable.

Worst thing about this game is, there might be a lot of Hack A Dre.

Both clubs rank among the NBA's best in defending. The Clippers lead the league in scoring defense, limiting opponents to 90.7 points per game, while producing 102.7 per outing.

The Pistons are second to Los Angeles in scoring defense at 93 points per game, while averaging 100.5 points per game.

Both he and Leuer have been horrible additions to the team, just as the plethora of naysayers predicted.

I really don't understand why Stan keeps signing these supposed "diamonds in the rough" when it's obvious his other deals (Morris, Harris, Jackson) have failed miserably as well.

Should have resigned Moose, and drafted Booker.

Or Horford who has lost 3 games already and averages less than 6 rebounds.

Still early but we are top 5 in defensive efficiency. #19 in offense without our fringe all star PG.

I think its these types of splits that comes along time to time are the reason why SVG entrusts so much minutes to Pope. He sees the potential, as do a lot of us as a great starter. Not a star, but a good to great one.

We need Dre to show up
We need Mook and Harris to continue balling
We need KCP to show up at least defensively, if he brings more ,even better

Most importantly, we need to rise to the level of the competition and slap them in the mouth

Clips haven't been able to get over the top, but they've been right there a lot. Pistons will have to play well to win. So far, not so good on the road. Maybe they are start turning that around some on this trip. Let's hope.

Yeah well, not having jackson who is not only the Pistons best closer, but the leagues best closer is a massive problem on the road.

I look at all these games before Jackson as bonus practice games, getting Smith, and beno into a groove for when the team is whole.

It's gonna be awesome watching smith carve second units up with our now killer damn bench.

So excited.
