Need to win tonight because next 5 are on the road. Having Foye back should help the pg situation.

With Lin out they should not sit Brook tomorrow. Play him limited minutes ok but play him. Rules are made to be broken and plans are made to be altered. If you are inflexible you will be broken.

Yea Brook sitting out tomorrow is a problem. I like Skil, but if he's our best player on the team, things aren't going to end well.

If sitting brook on the tail end of a back to back, or a severe minutes restriction either tonight or tomorrow means that he won't be suffering from plantar issues in February, I have no problem with it.

I read on Twitter he wants to play the team that traded his brother. I hope Atkinson allows him to play. We have 3 days off after this B2B anyways. I want to see him embarrass the Knicks.

I'll agree with a minutes restriction. There's no way of knowing if he sits out back to backs now it will help in February. Lin was playing somewhat limited minutes and he pulled a hamstring. Sure you have to be careful with Brook but the situation dictates he should at least available to play. As you say we can't afford to get too far under .500 and if the game is close Brook should play.

we need to win both games regardless. so I'd prefer managed minutes. That would mean we'd have to drub one of these teams to where we don't need to play brook heavily in the 2nd half.

I didn't want the Nets to trade Brook because he's a good person and one of the top scoring centers in the league. His inside game forces teams to double him which opens up our outside shooters. A perfect big for our offense and not a bad defender.

But if he's so brittle they should trade him before he breaks....

If he's not too brittle then play him!
