When it comes to Cleveland here is what would be my thinking. Embiid, Wiggins, and Parker in that order.

Embiid fills that huge need and gives them a great chance at having that post player they've been needing for a long time that can be dominate on both ends of the court. That has been their need and putting a dominate post player with Irving would be ideal.

I believe they have Wiggins above Parker on Cavs list for a few reasons. 1) Bigger need for a wing that can play both wing spots than a forward who can play both forward spots. They already have a PF in Tristan Thompson who gives them 11 and 9 and drafted a similar forward (Bennett isn't half the player Parker is though) last year. I can't see them giving up on Bennett after 1 year. 2) Cavs would rather put a wing who has the potential to defend all 3 perimeter positions on the court with Irving and Waiters than a wing who might be a bigger defensive liability than they are.

Agreed, I think only way Jabari to CLE happens is if he and Kyrie are Dukie BFF in a way that's been kept under wraps and he makes them do it

Here's Embiid at the private workout. You can decide for yourselves whether he looks healthy or not:

Embiid has the potential to be the best center in the league in just a couple years. His potential is almost limitless and his floor is better than people realize. Barring injury, I don't see how he doesn't end up being a reliable starting center for his defense and rebounding alone. His offense is where the question marks, but some of his post moves and his great footwork/coordination gives us no reason to think he can't fulfill that potential. Embiid is the ideal center prospect because he's big enough to post smaller big men up and hold his own in the paint, but also nimble and athletic enough to step out of the paint to defend the stretch bigs. I think he goes #1 based on his potential. He needs to be smarter on defense so he can stay out of foul trouble. If he can avoid injury and constantly being in foul trouble, I don't see any way he doesn't work out in the pros.

I wrote a full, detailed scouting report on Embiid here at http://freeagentzero.com/2014/06/18/nba ... el-embiid/ along with scouting reports on other lottery-projected players on the site.

Serious question: What are the odds that Embiid has read this thread?

He's exceptionally intelligent and is probably a highly curious guy, so I'm thinking it's almost certain (95%+ chance). Is that too high, or does that sound about right?

He just tweeted that he read that someone in realgm posted that the Cavs should consider trading him for Wiggins.

Ha, that was me. As a KU fan, I would of course rather see him and Wiggins on the same team rather than traded for one another, but the context of that thread was that if the Cavs are going to trade Wiggins, Embiid is the guy who they should get to maximize their odds of winning the most championships.

Great to see Embiid finally playing :)

He's been pretty good so far, but he's going to improve a lot, and fast.

Best game so far was against the Cavs

Having watched every single Kansas JoJo game back in 2013/14, I've now watched every single pre-season and regular season game, even though most of them are at 1am England time :D
